KOKBILLS Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Patsie or not, I love the guy as a Football Player... Here's hoping he's A.O.K...Of coarse I would not mind seeing him catch a cold or something harmless before each Bills/Pats Game for the remainder of his Career... Again...I just hope he's alright...
mary owen Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 get well, Teddy http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/...lized_ny176.jpg
BF_in_Indiana Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Or something that comes from the violent sport of pro football? 242949 I spoke too soon, but that was my first thought. It's not natural for someone his age to have a stroke, and with the NFL lifestyle it's not hard to believe that he could be on something.
Wacka Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Didn't he have a concussion near the end of the season? Could be residual effects. Remember Pat La Fontaine.
BradRiter Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 I didn't read every post or check the link but if what has been written is true... I hope he lives to be 150 years old, he wins the Powerball lottery for like $400 million, his kids grow up to cure cancer, and he never plays another down.
Navy Chief Navy Pride Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 get well soon Tedy---even though you are a patsie homo troll
HtownBillsFan Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 It's awful and I hope he's alright, but a stroke is most likely a sign he is using something he shouldn't be. 242929 Sleep Apnea is also a major cause of strokes. My father had one because of this. His doctor told me a shocking statistic, men with necks 18 inches or larger have a very high chance of having sleep apnea...which if not taken care of can lead to a stroke. This is also what caused Reggie Whites stroke that killed him.
Puhonix Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Of course we dont want him to die or anything, but call this a career-ender, and I'm alright with that.
Johnny Coli Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 From Boston: "Channel 4 reported late last night that Bruschi was suffering from "stroke-like symptoms" -- including partial paralysis and blurred vision." Short Carrucci Article
dib Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 stroke, damn ZI hate the guy but that does suck. U never wanna see that. Doesnt he have like 2 kids? 242923 Word up dude. Lets see, what kinds of things increase blood pressure and strain blood vessel walls

BillsGuyInMalta Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Lets hope that he's okay...the Patriots make me sick but I do have lots of respect for them...and oodles of it for Bruschi.
Greg de'Ville Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 ...I hope he pulls through and makes a full recovery. Tedy Bruschi is the one Patsie I respect. He's a warrior. Plays hard and clean.
obie_wan Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 wow 242919 probably caused by reading about DRew's release from Bills
ch19079 Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 not to sound like a total dick here, but..... what was his signing bonus for his new contract?? taking about 1/3rd of his value. if he cant play anymore... thats a sad thing.
ch19079 Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Of course we dont want him to die or anything, but call this a career-ender, and I'm alright with that. 243065 thats kinda !@#$ed up man..... on the other hand.... if it had happened to tom brady......
NDBoston Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Of course we dont want him to die or anything, but call this a career-ender, and I'm alright with that. 243065 You're all class aren't you.
SouthernMan Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Bruschi is a class act all the way, and I'd bet the same folks who claim to hate him would be drooling with elated anticipation if there was any chance for him to become a Buffalo Bill. The Patriots in general are a class act and deserve the praise they receive. Best wishes to Ted for a complete recovery.
