YoloinOhio Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/12/24/mo-lewis-to-serve-as-jets-honorary-captain-on-sunday/ Some will interpret the move as a not-so-subtle desire that a current Jets player will send Brady to Belize. Or at least out of the AFC East. Hopefully, he gets traded at some point in time, linebacker Calvin Pace said, via Cimini. Trade him to the NFC somewhere.
HT02 Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 If not for that hit maybe Bledsoe remains the starter and Brady is a career back-up.... I hate Mo Lewis
Hapless Bills Fan Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Will Brady come out and honor honorary captain Mo Lewis with his game check and a laurel wreath or something? Maybe an honorary yellow jacket? The Jets didn't think this one through very well.
Not at the table Karlos Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Yeah. I agree with the rest of you. Nobody in the entire organization said hmm maybe this isn't a good idea
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Will Brady come out and honor honorary captain Mo Lewis with his game check and a laurel wreath or something? Maybe an honorary yellow jacket? The Jets didn't think this one through very well. Seriously...wtf? This is the guy responsible for making over a decade of Brady misery possible
YoloinOhio Posted December 24, 2015 Author Posted December 24, 2015 (edited) The Pats fans/media feel it is a sign of disrespect toward Brady, because the Jets acting like Lewis is the only reason for Brady ever doing anything. Rolling him out there to humble him somehow. Whatever. Edited December 24, 2015 by YoloinOhio
boyst Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Calvin Pace knocks out Brady. Garrafloppolo comes in and takes his team to the Super Bowl defeating the Panthers, returns as starter and leads another 15 years of dominance. The Jets would deserve this.
BillsFan130 Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 I don't get it though. Mo Lewis was the greatest thing ever to happen to the pats. I'm sure pats fans love him
Buffalo Barbarian Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Old habbits die hard. I thought it was funny at first with Rex, but now it shows his lack of team unity and his emphasis of individualism. Calvin Pace knocks out Brady. Garrafloppolo comes in and takes his team to the Super Bowl defeating the Panthers, returns as starter and leads another 15 years of dominance. The Jets would deserve this. The Patriots trade us Tom Brady, he flounders here and goes to Dallas
