We sincerely appreciate that you quickly grasped our tradition of having Christmas with the family without the worrisome bother of rooting any more for our favorite NFL team at this time of year. You and your colleagues fit right in here in Western New York.

I'm glad his unit has 100% discipline. Thank you for providing aggressive entertaining defense. I've really enjoyed all the sacks and turnovers this year. I'm sure glad there haven't been breakdowns in the most critical times. Thank you.

Dennis thanks in advance for when you blame Mario for being disruptive influence on this years D when he is released. We are Bills fans and will buy it hook line and sinker and get fired up all off season when our Used Car Salesman gives his next pitch in advance of next years failure and excuse.

Dennis,

Thank you for taking our defensive lineman and teaching them how to drop back in coverage. You never know when they might go on Jenny Craig and lose too much weight to be a lineman anymore. You have prepared them for new roles in theircareers should this happen!

No changes on the defensive side. Dennis remains DC but they might tell Rex he has to call the plays from now on. Team will be retooled as a 3-4 which is absolutely horrible to see them dismantle a top 3 defense from a year ago. Bye bye Mario. Dennis is a good secondary coach but he's way over his head as a DC imo

doesnt Rex already call the plays? I thought so, don't know.

That's kind of the point of this thread: whatever Dennis Thurman's role on our team is _________________. Does anyone really know? He certainly isn't the coordinator...Rex calls the plays. He holds a clipboard really well. He looks the part. But it's probably a $800,000/yr job just to sit and nod at Rex or bark at the refs.

To start the season fans wanted pretend that this defense was playing well, we had limited sacks/ turnovers and everyone used the " Well the QB is getting rid of the ball quick". You could see almost every QB we faced had time to throw and scan the field for second & third options, we just did not produce any games (other then in Miami) where our defense had explosive game changing plays. How can you go from leading the lead in sacks to the production we saw this season?

This failure is all on the defense (this is what everyone wanted to talk about), our offense was not great but they did put up enough points to win more games.

Everytime we needed a stop or big play our defense could not deliver.Thurmond (Rex is not going anywhere) should be fired and hire someone that will best use what we have here. Perhaps Petite who will soon lose his job can return and get this defense to a more competitive level, was disgusting watching us play whimpy/scared football. (always rushing 4 & sometimes 3 guys).

He's done amazing things for Mario Williams' career.

Isn't that the truth !! Thurman hasn't a clue of how to apply a defense to it's players strengths !

Rex ego is the first that needs to go as far as the D is concerned & Thurman needs to be the one carrying it out the door with his A** !!

Then if Pettine is let go in Cleveland which is very possible they need to bring him back !!

Mario's latest interview is very telling !!
