What a Tuel
What a classless bunch of thugs. Rivera should be ashamed.... Panthers used bat to taunt Odell Beckham before game The Panthers brought a baseball bat onto the field during pregame warmups and taunted the Giants receiver with it, ESPNs Adam Schefter reported. In the video above posted by the Giants, you can see a Panthers player in street clothes pointing a bat at the Giants as they ran onto the field. According to NFL.com, Carolina practice squad player Marcus Ball brought it onto the field and gave it to star cornerback Josh Norman who was swinging it. FOXs Jay Glazer posted video on Instagram of Norman holding the bat. http://nypost.com/2015/12/21/panthers-taunted-odell-beckham-with-bat-before-game/ Did you not read the end of the article? The Panthers do not deny the existence of the bat, saying they have used it often before games as a “Bring the wood’’ sort of symbol. Cornerback Bene’ Benwikere, who was injured and did not play in the game, on Twitter explained that he carried the bat before last week’s game against the Falcons. Norman after that game said the bat symbolizes the secondary wanting to make big plays, like home runs.

truth on hold
You're right. The Giants are 6-8 and the Bills are ummmmmm 6-8. Oh nevermind you're wrong again. Freaking rabbit punch. Hahahahaha. and we lost to both Giants (OBJ) and Eagles (Kiko) .... we lose to head to head to both. So much for your "record" matters theory. let me know when you need something else shot down Edited December 22, 2015 by JTSP

Deranged Rhino
let the moderators know your thoughts, it can be taken care of simply. don't just sit here and talk about it. I don't believe in curtailing anyone's right to speak (or type). Letting people talk is the fastest way to separate the wheat from the chafe. I also don't believe in the ignore feature, but that's a personal preference. No one takes JTSP's football opinions seriously, nor should they. He's a joke. Because if these are your honest football opinions then maybe you should try watching a less complicated sport, like competitive knitting. Not at the table Karlos
If its multiple then Norman should definitely get the same treatment...baseball bat, body slam, several hands to face, wouldn't get off after play was over, rabbit punch... are you the reason why gay and homophobic slurs were thrown odells way? You're going a little too hard to defend this POS Edited December 22, 2015 by Not at the table Karlos
Maury Ballstein
Odell should really be afraid of the baseball bat. Didn't you guys watch the last 3 panthers games where Norman was cracking skulls pregame ?
DasNootz
I remember the Jacksonville Jaguars' punter injuring himself a decade ago with an axe in the locker room while "keep choppin' wood" was the team mantra.

Norman after that game said the bat symbolizes the secondary wanting to make big plays, like home runs. I've heard this a few times now. WTF does carrying a baseball bat before the game have to do with anything? Are idiots actually defending Beckham because the Panthers players walked around with a bat before the game? Fortunately ODB had one on, who knows what would have happened otherwise after Norman body slammed him on his head, and rabbit punched him when he ran routes.
