BADOLBILZ Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Darryl Johnston says that the Bills don't have enough practice time to implement a super complex defense under current CBA. He's right. Maybe next year it will be better but there is no excuse to waste a season implementing a defense. That's what happened to 2015.
Mojo44 Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 The season has become a literal nightmare that I cannot wake up from. Oh well, the Giants-Panthers game has become interesting....
xsoldier54 Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Watching the Bills is like watching the movie Groundhogs day. We just keep re-living the same crap over and over and over again.
Nitro Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 You'd think a guy who's only job on the team is kickoffs would be better than 0 for 5 for onside kicks. Tough to watch.
Agent 91 Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 anyone who has watched EJ play is about 100% sure After watching Tyrod i am not... nor have not been impressed with much at all he has done. He isnt succeeding and they arent even asking him to do much. And our offense still is ineffective. I need to see a progression next year because right now... he blows
Best Player Available Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 you would think that this organisation, after having a front row seat watching Rexs circus in New York, would have stayed far away from that dumpster fire instead of taking the battered girlfriend approach thinking they can change him if given the chance he is a great talker and that got him the gig. IMO
apuszczalowski Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Thurman just told Rex he's got it figured outYup, next game against the redskins Thurman will know what to do.....

I don't think there is a team in this league that would pick EJ over Taylor
Mojo44 Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 We really did turn into the Jets Rex's Jets. But you're right on.
Nitro Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Stats are deceiving...Bills out gained Washington.
apuszczalowski Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 he is a great talker and that got him the gig. IMOthat's how I could understand another team, like say the 49ers or Falcons hiring him since they don't get to see him often compared to the Bills who played him twice a year as a division rival.
Reed83HOF Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Rex's Jets. But you're right on. That's what I meant...
3rdand12 Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Yikes. What more do you need to see that Rex is a horrible hire? Rex affected the current staff? what are you saying here?
Wayne Cubed Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Ugh. So they just said in the Seahawks/Browns game the the Seattle defense hasn't allowed a TD in the last 21 drives. Why couldn't the Bills defense be THAT defense.
BackInDaDay Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Maybe next year it will be better but there is no excuse to waste a season implementing a defense. That's what happened to 2015. yep.. and the worst thing is, they still can't play it effectively
Mojo44 Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 That's what I meant... I know you did. I just wanted to get in one more dig at Rex.

The defense gives up TD's on Washington's first three possessions and somehow that is Taylor's fault? He wasn't perfect and made some bad throws, but he also once again did enough good things to produce a win if they could play any defense at all. TT is not perfect and if that's what you are looking for, then good luck with that. What he has been this year is pretty damned good. Top 10 in every QB category and top 5 in most. Some people will never be satisfied. I understand the frustration with losing, but it's the D that has let this team down this year, not the other side of the ball.

Only you and Tyrod Taylor think that he's a top 10 QB in the NFL.
