VirginiaMike Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 (edited) That's a big HECK No (cleaned up for the board). At best he starts 12 games a year so why bring in a guy who you know won't play a complete season. If I was going to bring in someone, it would be RG III (at a much reduced salary) to complete with Tyrod. They have many of the same skills so moving from one to the other could easily happen. Lv-Bills Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Why the hell would we want Sam Bradford? F#$k No
nucci Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Bradford pretty non committal to PHILADELPHIA next year. $20m dollar projected franchise tag isn't happening. Do you bring him in? http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/12/17/sam-bradford-likes-philly-not-sure-if-he-likes-likes-philly/?utm_network=facebook&utm_post=4765796&utm_source=FB%20-%20SNF%20on%20NBC&utm_tags=srm%5Bfootball%2Carticle%5D What is it about Bradford you like?
Utah John Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Yes, bring him in as an unsigned wannabee, so the comparison with TT shows how much better TT is. If Bradford wants to be a minimum pay backup, he'd be a better option than EJ.
Mr. WEO Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Wow, I know it's been a while, but were we really due for another "what about Bradford?" thread?
CardinalScotts Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 well i have a first year starter in Tyrod who's better than Bradford now and only going to get better......why would i bring in Bradford? nope
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 No.. Keep Taylor, trade EJ for absolutely anything, 8th round pick or cut, draft a QB, and keep the third guy as scout team dev prospect and keep an eye out for a vet back up.
QB Bills Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 It's only because I think we have something in Tyrod. Otherwise, I'd be up for giving Bradford a shot.
1st Ammendment NoMas Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 drinking and posting is fun, but often leads to some very bad ideas.
TheBillsBlues Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 (edited) I've seen so many posts on this site and Buffalo Rumblings about trying to get Brees, Rivers and now Bradford in house. I still cannot understand it. 1) We don't have the cap room to afford any of these guys 2) Bradford is not better than Tyrod and definitely not a better deal when factoring in salary 3) Brees is 36 and Rivers is 34. Neither one is a long term solution for the Bills 4) Tyrod did well enough to deserve some more starts. Draft a young QB (as we should be doing most years) and give Tyrod a chance to develop into being our long term starter. Edited December 17, 2015 by TheBillsBlues
midland Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Let me go hit my thumb with a hammer and if it doesn't hurt, then get him....... Ouch that hurt like heck.... NO WAY
Talley56 Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Fitz > Bradford. Yeap, I said it, and I stand by it 100%.
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 i just have this feeling were going to bring in kapernick - and i hate him. cost me a FF title
WheelsB10 Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 I'm new to this site and even I know this is a terrible idea.
