basskik11 Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 (edited) I typically don't post a whole lot on here, however I feel the need to say a few things and would like to hear some of your thoughts on what I am feeling as well. I waited for my emotions to chill out before posting. haha. I apologize in advance if any of this was covered in other topics. So I am from the Philly area and attended the game this weekend. Maybe it was from watching the 30 for 30 documentary on Saturday night that got me so fired up, but I have to tell you, I am getting sick of Shady McCoy. I understand that he was upset when he got traded and that he loved playing for the Eagles, but to see this guy, in a Buffalo uniform get on his hands and knees to "kiss" the Eagles logo and then apparently to not travel back w/ the team (if true) ticks me off. I feel like he doesn't want to be here, he could care less and that he isn't embracing what Buffalo is all about or what kind of a fan base WE have. My other thought is on Rex Ryan. Likeable guy/Players coach, whatever. But seems like he's just one of the guys and not a Leader of Men. At all. I think if he is going to retain his position of Head Football Coach, he should be the Head Football Coach and maybe move away from Dennis Thurman. This defense is way more talented than the way they have been playing. I'm not going to get into the gameday coaching or the penalties right now as you all probably can imagine how I feel. I also thought it was embarrassing how all three of these knuckleheads acted while walking thru the tunnel after the game (McCoy, Ryan, Thurman). Anyway, I love the Bills and want to win. And right now I can't see us winning with these guys...wait a minute...we aren't winning, are we? Thanks for letting me vent! Edited December 16, 2015 by basskik11
plenzmd1 Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 I will indulge one of your complaints; Shady not coming home with team. WTF? Why does anyone care? They don't go into work on Monday. Christ, both my kids play high school sports and sometimes they don't go home on the team bus... So they have a bad attitude! I just have no earthly clue how this is even a thing

plenzmd1 Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Isnt Shady's family still in PA? If so, it makes sense that he would stay behind with them CBF Story goes some nightclub was promoting a party that Shady and some Eagles would be attending late Sunday evening, and some lame Buffalo News reporters and Rodak want to make an issue of it... He is a grown ass man as they say...he missed zero work time, No Story
Maddog69 Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 I could not possibly care any less about this at all. Shady is fine. He's a Pennsylvania kid and loved playing in Philly. Had a good relationship with his fans and teammates and he stayed after to attend a party. No big issue. Nothing to see here.
basskik11 Posted December 16, 2015 Author Posted December 16, 2015 My mistake. I thought it was an NFL rule for the team to travel back together. That, coupled with this party stuff and Rex not confirming or denying pissed me off. And if that is a rule, then it is a big deal.
snafu Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 I don't care what Shady did after the game, but he pissed me off during the whole week leading up to the game. Couldn't say "no comment" and just go out and play football.
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 I couldn't care less what Shady says/does off the field, as long as he produces on the field. Plenty of people show up to my office(myself included) who hate their job, but do it well anyway. Not to mention, ya'll know that if Freddie were to come back, kiss the Bills logo, it'd be all about how great Freddie is, and how he's such a class act, blah blah blah. Not that I'd disagree.
