Prickly Pete
Almost as improbable as a 6th round afterthought QB turning out to be a HOF'er, possibly even the GOAT in the eyes of some? As statistically near impossible as that guy residing in your division with the same HOF coach for 15 + seasons and still being near the top of his game? Far longer than NFL history would suggest a single team could remain a dominant force with a single QB? Look, the Bills have been unable to solve their QB dilemma since ''99 ( or even '97 truthfully) and were generally inept as an organization. The streak sucks but it's partly a product of cosmically bad luck for one franchise and another franchise in their division catching lightning in a bottle. Most every other division has sent a marginal division winner or even WC team to the playoffs in that span due to general mediocrity around them. The Bills streak has likely been prolonged by the incredibly unlikely and incredibly long career of Tom Brady. It may not end until Father Time catches up with him, What a load of crap. The Bills have sucked, and not just against the Patriots. They should have at least backed into a Wild Card game. The Jets and Dolphins have. During this stretch of mediocrity (at best), I bet most of their wins have been against teams in the bottom 3rd of the league, and that they had few wins against winning teams. I haven't bothered to look up the stats (it's too painful), but just from memory, I confident about it. They have sucked, and would have sucked in any division. Sure, they might have backed into the playoffs once or twice in the past 15 years, but they wouldn't have had any sustained success.
yungmack
If the Bills lose out, does anyone think they would fire Ryan? It might be my only hope. Win out or lose out, the guy should be gone.

Perry Turtle
Not even remotely accurate. Buffalo only team to go to 4 in a row. No one has made it to 5, much less 10. Lions currently match the Bills for ineptitude, not having made the playoffs since 1999. They are pretty much eliminated already for this year to boot, so they should match the Bills. I wouldn't recommend citing statistical quotes that are nothing more than exaggerations than actual statistics. Lions made the playoffs last season. Lost to Dallas. The Bills own this mind-boggling streak.
ganesh
Sorry but as bad as a few teams have been over the years, this is quite possibly the dumbest, most leaderless group weve had since van pelt took the reigns in greg williams's last year (no offense to the dough boy) where to begin? well how about the current longest tenured knucklehead bill? 1. leodis- allows the last pass of the first half to be completed at the sideline after playing tight D on all the previous and following pass attempts...where else would they have thrown it leodis?? = 3 points for them Then tries to strip the ball rather than make a tackle on a guy much larger when he had no one else to help...the second guy should go for the strip. This allows their TE to escape and get big yards= the winning 3 points...oh and we all know that int hit the ground. Also, he should have touched him...In that case the clock would have run out and the Eagles without a timeout wouldn't have been able to kick the FG. No field awareness again. 2. Jerry hughes is too dumb to play the ball. Mario too, his off sides allowed the eagles an easy 3rd down conv and their first TD. Oh but 1 sack from these guys. woo hoo! eagles d line played much harder, and smarter. But thanks for not getting a 15 yarder today Jerry, for once. The DL continues to disappoint. You can't put everything on the scheme. These guys are not making plays....Period. 3.The O-line cant play without what...10 penalties? holds, false starts, personal fouls!!??!?! you name it they did it. This was the first game where the line had so many penalties...Some were phantom calls like the one that wiped out McCoy's long run in the 4th quarter. However, there are no excuses for them. They single handedly stalled drives... 5. Felton, thanks for your two blocks today, and 2 false starts where you lean forward like a high school player...but again at least he blocked a guy today, or maybe he just false started right at the right time and fell into the defender. who knows! I thought he was the all world FB who had helped A.P rush for record seasons....I guess the credit for that lives with A.P. 6. Rex, we give the jets our old weak armed qb, they are 8-5, we get their fired but charismatic coach, we are 6-7, (btw was this our 3rd or 4rth 15 penalty game?) The Jets are playing ball-control offense. Remember Chan Gailey had a great offense here...just couldn't put a defense together.... 7. Could Woods fumble more as a Bill please? hes done this too many times. Oh and could Hogan catch more balls and go out of bounds like he doesnt understand what feet and sidelines are for? He does this once a game. Woods has this annoying capability of catching the ball and falling down without a defensive player near him...It sucks. I love the Bills but this team is leaderless and the smartest guy (Roman) is playing with some brain dead athletes and Rex. Rex got rid of guys with brains ( Fred, Kiko) and with K Williams out, its down to a bunch of undisciplined loud mouths who gave the game away. Can't agree more except for the Fred, Kiko comments.... Kiko was invisible yesterday and beaten on the TD soundly. Fred is done in Seattle.
YoloinOhio
I think he's saying some of the players are stupid @TyDunne: Manny Lawson on Rex's D: "A lot of guys here were thrown into situations they werent accustomed to and had a big playbook thrown at them." nonprophet
Watch the play. He was trying to avoid being hit by defender and turned slightly which caused him to misplay the ball Yeah, the guy's judgement is questionable at best. The Bills should have cut him earlier this season...oh, wait...

enlightener
Is it that he " can't" or is he so seldom not " clean" that it affects his concentration if he isn't? I'm sure he's caught some balls in traffic, including in the end zone ( last week comes to mind) . Anyway, Sammy is one of the few things that's not wrong with this team even if he ain't perfect. What NFL player ( especially a WR) is? They don't call them Diva Receiva's for nothing.he is good but watch caerfully. Unless hes near a sideline or endzone he "feels" unsafe to reach out and expose his core...he drops short ones and one-arms or out runs deep ones....the covered balls u speak of had safetys he already beat to the ball. One he caught in kc as the two dbs converged...dropped right into his tucked in arms....he didnt ever extend...hence he caught it. And a double first rounder should be running all ot after the catch...not falling down on purpose.
