The Williams Family Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 I feel like winning the heisman means nothing. you can win it and still not transition to the NFL.
FireChan Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 JFF and Jameis ruined the Heisman a little bit. Both the first and second freshmen ever. Winning it regular now is less interesting.
The Frankish Reich Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Don't know how much fans on the East Coast saw of Christian McCaffrey, but for those of us who saw a lot of him, this one should have been a no-brainer. McCaffrey had one of the best college football seasons I've ever seen. (And no, I don't care about where he'll be drafted. This isn't the Mel Kiper Project # 1 Pick Trophy.)
Kirby Jackson Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 I feel like winning the heisman means nothing. you can win it and still not transition to the NFL.That's kind of an odd take considering that it is, without question, the top individual award in all of sports. Winning the Heisman is much more prestigious than being an MVP in any other sport. Part of it is tradition and the other part is the field of candidates is so much greater. The 5th place guy plays at Navy!! It is an enormous honor.
K D Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 McCaffrey seems like the kind of player that will end up on the Patriots and be a headache for us for years to come
