26CornerBlitz Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 (edited) @SalSports The Bills have promoted LB AJ Tarpley to the 53-man roster. Tony Steward has been placed on the Reserve/Injured list. @buffalobills Promoted to the active roster: LB AJ Tarpley Placed on IR: LB Tony Steward http://bufbills.co/30gU4T Edited December 10, 2015 by 26CornerBlitz
Kirby Jackson Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Yuck, Steward was okay in his time out there. Tarpley was an abomination.
Coach Tuesday Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Wow Seward lasted about five minutes. They need to add a linebacker who can play - I realize it's late in the season but we're trying to make a playoff run here... Spikes?
26CornerBlitz Posted December 10, 2015 Author Posted December 10, 2015 Yuck, Steward was okay in his time out there. Tarpley was an abomination. Let's hope he's either inactive or is relegated to Special Teams. I do not want to see him in pass coverage on Sproles or any other Eagles' RB for that matter.

26CornerBlitz Posted December 10, 2015 Author Posted December 10, 2015 Five minutes is about right. I hope the kid can get and stay healthy. @JoeBuscaglia LB Tony Steward ends the season with 8 total defensive snaps as a rookie. Four of which came last week. #Bills
RyanC883 Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 I like the Spikes suggestion. He's also great against the run and could add some assistance in that category, where we desp. need it w/ K. Williams out.
BearNorth Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 I like Spikes too, but I think he may have to serve a suspension once he's signed under the conduct policy. He also doesn't play ST so that could factor into it.
stevewin Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 (edited) Holy Crap. Not Good. At least Tarpley will now hopefully be spending some serious time the rest of this week learning what the hell he is supposed to be doing if he does end up getting on the field At this point I'm all for bringing in Spikes. Even if weighs 300 lbs and comes stumbling in with liquor on his breath he's still got to be better than Tarpley. Where is Leon Joe when you need him? Edited December 10, 2015 by stevewin
BillsFanM.D. Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Yuck, Steward was okay in his time out there. Tarpley was an abomination. Not enough time to really evaluate Steward but Tarpley was, in fact, horrible two weeks ago. Looks like Manny Lawson will be playing 'every position' on defense again.

It must be that the OBD brass don't believe he's a fit in Rex's scheme.

I knew that he left the game but I didn't realize that it was that few snaps.
buffaloboyinATL Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 (edited) I am not a big Tarpley fan based on what I have seen so far. Any LB's left on the practice squad? Spikes already served his suspension. It didn't matter that he was a street Free Agent. The learning curve and conditioning time won't work at this time of year.
