GG Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Saw that #90 TJ Barnes started the game vs Texans and was in for 12 snaps, but no stat lines. Could be the prototypical Rex NT in the defense. Haven't had a chance to go over All-22 yet, so wondering how he did in clogging the lanes?
GG Posted December 10, 2015 Author Posted December 10, 2015 Ok, I'll answer my own question. He started the game and was in on the first series, then essentially disappeared until 3Q. Did not embarrass himself, and probably will play a lot more once he gets into the playbook. Big boy, but seemed a bit off balance on the first drive, yet commanded double teams. On one play he occupied 3 blockers. BTW, on many of the long runs up the middle it seemed that Hoyer audibled into the plays when Bills DL was lined up wide, and LBs didn't fill the lanes quick enough. Could this be why Rex isn't following Schwartz's thinking?

BringBackFergy Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 I took a few notes (which are hidden somewhere on my desk here at work) and I recall writing "#90...who is this? Great play" That's the extent of my journalism skills.
