26CornerBlitz Posted December 14, 2015 Author Posted December 14, 2015 @JoeBuscaglia #Bills HC Rex Ryan: Stephon Gilmore, I doubt it right now. It doesn't look good for him to play. @JoeBuscaglia #Bills HC Rex Ryan: I'm not ruling out the possibility of Gilmore being done for the season with the dislocated shoulder
Dragonborn10 Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Why does everyone hate on McElvin? CB'S get beat. Get over it. It happens. Who else would you want out there? He is adequate and not very expensive. Three coaching staffs feel the same way. They know better than us. Why does everyone hate on McElvin? CB'S get beat. Get over it. It happens. They look like Leo, or worse. CB play in the NFL is not good on the whole, they are hard to hit on in the draft and it's a tough position to play well anymore with the rules that are in place. bills fans were lucky to have our two guys for most of the year - watch just about any other game and it's a different story. PO16FFS Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Because Leo has been a joke since his Fumble against the Pats. How long does a team keep the stank? In the Bills case, Years and Years obviously!
Best Player Available Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Because Leo has been a joke since his Fumble against the Pats. How long does a team keep the stank? In the Bills case, Years and Years obviously! can't fault him for where he was picked. is about the best one can say about him. And aside from a single season. he has been more of a liability than an asset. Unless they get another Darby quality steal in the draft. I bet McLovn is still here. Part of the stench of losing from a differant era.
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 How many years has he been here?? 6 or 7, know he's on his 2nd contract. He had one good year at CB, think it was the year his contract was up. He's made a number of bone headed moves over the years, high draft pick and never lived up to it. Leroi Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 It seems as if every time Gilmore makes a head on tackle, he gets injured. Some minor, Some major. Imo

It's nice to have excellent cornerback play as the Bills do but the best defense in football is a good pass rush. Rex and his beloved max-coverage approach requires too much talent at DB and and by not hitting QB's it makes them more effective later in games.
26CornerBlitz Posted December 16, 2015 Author Posted December 16, 2015 @BuffaloBillsPR The @buffalobills have signed DE Max Valles and placed CB Stephon Gilmore on season ending IR.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 @BuffaloBillsPR The @buffalobills have signed DE Max Valles and placed CB Stephon Gilmore on season ending IR. Awesome CBF
26CornerBlitz Posted December 16, 2015 Author Posted December 16, 2015 @RapSheet The #Bills put CB Stephon Gilmore (shoulder) on IR because he had surgery on a torn labrum, source said. Stephon needs to improve his tackling technique to help him prevent injury.

John from Riverside Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 This might help with the negot on his new contract
Leroi Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 (edited) An Injury Proned CB who needs to learn how to tackle is not worth $10mil/year. Lets save cap and let him walk...Unless its at a deep discount. He has had only one complete season since coming into this league. Imo Edited December 16, 2015 by Leroi
26CornerBlitz Posted December 16, 2015 Author Posted December 16, 2015 @AlbertBreer As @MikeGarafolo said, Bills CB Stephon Gilmore had labrum surgery yesterday. I'm told the timetable for recovery is 4-6 months. @JosinaAnderson Per source, Stephen Gilmore also had his labrum repaired last year on the same side and bounced back. “He will be fine.” #Bills

26CornerBlitz Posted December 16, 2015 Author Posted December 16, 2015 Does anyone know if he is eligible to return for the super bowl? I'm sure tickets are available within his price range.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 I'm sure tickets are available within his price range. Thank, God. Maybe he will be ready to attend the conference championship too.

Imo Gilmore has played in 53 of 64 games, and is one of the better cover corners in the league. He's worth the money. Edited December 16, 2015 by TakeYouToTasker
