Dopey Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Coming into the season we had a top 5-7 defense. An all star dline, up and coming young lb's, good enough safeties and Gilmore at cb. So now I see comments regarding cutting Mario, Kyle is pretty much gone, our lb's all of a sudden suck and we need safety help. This d was our best chance at the playoffs and Rex is wasting it. No I take that back, Rex has wasted it. We are not going to the playoffs this year and we will waste another year rebuilding the d. No playoffs next year either. No Mario or Kyle next year and finding new lb's and safeties cuz Rex can't use a d that was set up for a playoff run. Does anyone else see how f'd up this is? There, I'm done with my rant.

Buffalo Barbarian Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Yeah, disappointing for sure, I think Kyle will be back (he probably plays 18 yrs) but the silver lining is we have a shot some decent QBs this yr if we keep up our pace.

With our draft position if we got 7-9 or 9-7, which QBs do we realistically have a shot at drafting, that are an upgrade to Taylor?

I think what we will end up being left with is drafting a qb with a ton of upside but not ready to challenge TT in the first year. Possibly a 2nd round QB if a 1st round talent doesnt fall of course.....you could always have a Teddy Bridgwater or David Carr type situation happen. Maybe the bills are keeping their feelings crossed on that
