Trump Alone at the Top

CHUCK TODD: IT’S NOT THE MEDIA’S JOB TO VET TRUMP’S PAST.

Not until he receives the nomination or October at the latest, that is.

And speaking of which, Mitt Romney Predicts ‘Bombshell’ in Trump’s Unreleased Tax Returns.

If so, Trump might want to get this out of the way now, considering the way the MSM pretended in lockstep that Romney’s “47 percent” nothingburger was the end of the world in 2012. On the other hand, if not his taxes, there’s no doubt the MSM will attempt to manufacture an October surprise out of thin air, no matter who the GOP candidate is.

You know this is coming. I hear that CBS is planning some sort plan to try to link Trump to organized crime. Something to do with his casinos even though that space has been taken over by corporations decades ago. The average clone that tunes into the View and the MSM isn't aware of that yet though.

WSJ has been hitting him up with the associations. It's not running the casinos, but building them and being behind the scenes, while Trump turned a blind eye.

It is indeed an interesting thing to see the Republicans twist themselves into being Trump supporters. What a horror show.

And it's a sad thing watching Democrats not need to twist themselves into being Secretary Clinton supporters. What a pathetic show.

It's awful in that she's awful, but most of her supporters supported her all along. The majority of Republicans reviled Trump just a few months ago.

It's not about the Dem or GOP parties this year. It's about Trump's connection to voters on both sides who are done with being ignored and are ready to blow up the establishment DC bubble.

Donald Trump’s Evangelical Standing Ovation

Donald Trump continues to amaze. Wednesday afternoon, he strode onto the Regent University stage (an influential Christian University) and received a prolonged standing ovation from the evangelical audience. He went on to speak eloquently about the importance of family (he even brought out his two sons who spoke highly of him), nominating pro-life judges, defending Israel, etc. After hearing what he had to say, he left over an hour later to another standing ovation.

The Trump Tornado
Townhall.com ^ | February 25, 2016 |
It's been a wild primary season. No one would have guessed a year ago that Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont would be giving presumed Democratic Nominee Hillary Clinton a run for her money, or that businessman and entertainer/reality television star Donald Trump would be leading the Republican nomination process. But here we are. So far, Trump has won three of the first four caucuses or primaries for the Republican nomination for presidency:
Trump on Hillary Clinton: "Shes a Marshmellow"
Politico ^ | 2/25/2016 | Nolan McCaskill
Donald Trump on Wednesday roasted Hillary Clinton for aligning so closely to President Barack Obama, mocking the former secretary of state and likening her to a marshmallow. In his first campaign event since his dominant victory in the Nevada caucuses Tuesday night, Trump said Clinton’s rival Bernie Sanders is done and derided Clinton. “Boy, did you ever see anybody so nice to the president, though?” Trump asked. “‘Oh, the president is wonderful,’ she says. ‘Oh, the president, he’s great.’

Trump has me more worried than ever. Without him being the nominee, voter intensity would likely be in favor of the Republican. With him as the nominee, it would seem to be easier for the Dems to fire up their voters for a greater turnout.

The hatred of Trump is more of a media and politician driven thing and not a general voter thing. Many supporters of Cruz and Rubio will eventually get over it and vote for Trump. Once Bernie is out, I don't know how many of his young supporters will even go and vote for Hillary.
