Donald Trump Campaign

“The only news here is that the more than 20-year-old alleged tax document was illegally obtained, a further demonstration that the New York Times, like establishment media in general, is an extension of the Clinton Campaign, the Democratic Party and their global special interests. What is happening now with the FBI and DOJ on Hillary Clinton’s emails and illegal server, including her many lies and her lies to Congress are worse than what took place in the administration of Richard Nixon - and far more illegal.

“Mr. Trump is a highly-skilled businessman who has a fiduciary responsibility to his business, his family and his employees to pay no more tax than legally required. That being said, Mr. Trump has paid hundreds of millions of dollars in property taxes, sales and excise taxes, real estate taxes, city taxes, state taxes, employee taxes and federal taxes, along with very substantial charitable contributions. Mr. Trump knows the tax code far better than anyone who has ever run for President and he is the only one that knows how to fix it.

“The incredible skills Mr. Trump has shown in building his business are the skills we need to rebuild this country. Hillary Clinton is a corrupt public official who violated federal law, Donald Trump is an extraordinarily successful private businessman who followed the law and created tens of thousands of jobs for Americans.”

Heh........

the Times itself has “avoided” paying taxes — in 2014, for example.

As Forbes noted at the time:

… for tax year 2014, The
paid
and got an income tax refund of $3.5 million even though they had a pre-tax profit of $29.9 million in 2014. In other words, their post-tax profit was higher than their pre-tax profit. The explanation in their
is, “The effective tax rate for 2014 was favorably affected by approximately $21.1 million for the reversal of reserves for uncertain tax positions due to the lapse of applicable statutes of limitations.” If you don’t think it took fancy accountants and tax lawyers to make that happen, read the statement again.

New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani defended Trump on Sunday, telling NBC News’ Meet the Press that Trump was a “genius” in business who was simply doing what the tax code allows every American to do by counting losses against tax liabilities, and bouncing back from failure to success.

That would include the New York Times — which, however, is still struggling.

Trump could diffuse all misinformation by releasing his returns...

If it's true he is frequently audited, then it is also true that he is paying all the tax he owes. The media will never give him credit for that or for the correct application of losses carried forward or 1031 real estate exchanges. They'll simply demonize him as a rich guy who pays a lower tax rate than secretaries.

Blame the tax laws. He wasn't paying zero in taxes illegally and expecting him to pay taxes when he didn't have to is stupid.

Agree 100%. 2 things on this:

1. He didn't break any laws. I thought the standard in this election was if you weren't convicted of anything it was all good. No harm no foul.

2. Hillary was in the Senate for 8 years. Why didn't she do something about it then?

I don't think it's good for billionaires to be able to legally pay no taxes. But don't blame them, change the freakin' law. Somehow I suspect that Hillary's supporters (Wall Streeters who pay her a quarter mile per sprach) won't support this, so she won't either.

TRIGGER WARNING: VIDEO OF HORRIBLE OLD RACIST USING DISGUSTING TRIGGERING LANGUAGE TO DESCRIBE UNDOCUMENTED PRE-CITIZENS.

"Illegal Aliens!"

"Secure Our Borders More!"

"Illegal Hiring!"

"Deportation!"

"Criminal Aliens!"

"Barring Welfare Benefits!"

"Identify Illegal Aliens!"

"Abuse Of Our Immigration Laws!"

Yes, it's amazing how far the Democrat party has moved on this and other issues.

They, like Warren Buffett, just pay lip service, knowing that whatever they say, nothing will change. And not just because of the Republicans.

Taking advantage of tax laws is nothing compared to selling influence to foreign nations while working as Secretary of State.

One is perhaps illegal, the other is treasonous.

"You can't prove pay to play" 2016 democrats.

In 2010 the same voices argued the exact opposite in relation to Citizen United.

They've shifted their entire argument to lower the bar for Hillary because it's her turn. This isn't an election, it's a coronation.

Another lousy week for Trump. Hillary baited him and he fell for it. He spent 5 days punching down to a Pageant winner. Now he's mocking and doing reenactments of Hillary's health, if any one of you think that is smart politics, then you are a dumbass.

The taxes issue, meh. But the more important finding was that he lost nearly a Billion dollars in a year? Wow!

He's a disaster.

CHRIS CHRISTIE, RUDY GIULIANI: DONALD TRUMP'S ABILITY TO AVOID TAXES WAS 'GENIUS'

Rudy Giuliani answered the charge that he faces accusations of infidelity on Sunday by saying it's not just him.

"Everybody does," the former New York City mayor and Donald Trump supporter said.

Yes and another week not talking about government spending and debt, growing the economy, the solvency of entitlements, national security and illegal immigration. This campaign for both candidates is an all-time low for our country. SNL and their audience the only winners.

His tax returns were ok'd by the IRS all these years I don't understand the logic of wanting them combed over again.
