Deranged Rhino Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 (edited) I don't want to relitigate the whole issue because it was a doozy and I'll simply accept your answer. Hey, I'll happily admit when I'm wrong. I'm wrong a lot. But I have zero recollection of saying Stewart doesn't have a bias, he's never hidden it. I do have a strong recollection of taking the position that the media itself doesn't have a bias. *************************** Because I'm curious now... I did just go back through the archives and tried to search for the thread. I didn't find it, in fact there weren't many times I've referenced Jon or the Daily Show according to the archives (but didn't we lose a bunch of posts? We must have because I've linked more than a few clips over the years). Anyway, this was from 2012 and even then I was careful to point out the Daily Show is bias. So, if I did say it, it would have had to have been before 2012: This is still the funniest commentary I've seen about the leaks... despite being a Daily Show clip, it's not anti-GOP. It's anti-stupidity. Especially the last 3 minutes. http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/wed-june-13-2012/newsleaks "It is an inconceivable breach of human rights... to tell us about the kill list! The president is killing people with flying robots and uh... you should not know that!" Edited May 10, 2016 by Deranged Rhino
1billsfan Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 They're just waiting for him to get the nomination. When he does, shortly thereafter even you will admit that you rue the day you ever thought Donald Trump was the right choice to run against Hillary Clinton. The right or wrong choice was between Trump or Cruz. It wasn't Trump vs "the unknown totally awesome candidate". While Trump may still be a long shot, he at least has a long shot chance unlike Cruz who would have been demolished in the general.

Yeah, the ones that don't exist except in Trump's mind. Because they're amazing, okay? He knows people. Including himself. Smartest person he knows. Believe me. And he's never wrong because it's too easy to just change his mind.

It's been discussed for months that he won't self fund his national campaign. Good to see you're staying on top of breaking current events. Asshat.

IDBillzFan Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 (edited) I'm seeing links on Twitter from a Fox News video where Trump today said he probably won't run negative ads against Hillary because he doesn't find them very effective. Seriously. After bringing the GOP into the gutter with Chris Christie and the Enquirer and threatening to release information on Cruz's wife, NOW that it's him versus Hillary, it's time to play nice. If you still can't figure out you're being conned, you're a bigger dumbass than gatorman. Edited May 12, 2016 by LABillzFan

Tiberius Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 No real surprise http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2016/05/donald-trump-white-nationalist-afp-delegate-california On Monday evening, California's secretary of state published a list of delegates chosen by the Trump campaign for the upcoming Republican presidential primary in the state. Trump's slate includes William Johnson, one of the country's most prominent white nationalists.

B-Man Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Washington Post Begins Massive Investigation of Trump By PAUL BEDARD | WASHINGTON EXAMINER The Washington Post has built a sizable army of reporters to dig into every facet of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's life under orders of new owner Jeff Bezos, the Amazon founder and Democratic Party donor. Post Associate Editor Bob Woodward revealed Wednesday that the Post has assigned 20 staffers to Trump. In addition the paper plans a book. "There's a lot we don't know," he told the National Association of Realtors convention in Washington.
