26CornerBlitz Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 (edited) @SalSports I've been informed the Bills are releasing LB AJ Tarpley. He will be placed on waivers. @ChrisBrownBills Alex Carrington's 2015 season is over. Officially placed on I-R, LB A.J. Tarpley also released. #Bills Edited December 2, 2015 by 26CornerBlitz
YoloinOhio Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 He was really bad yesterday. Yikes. Bye AJ.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 30, 2015 Author Posted November 30, 2015 He was really bad yesterday. Yikes. Bye AJ. He looked very very slow yesterday and lost in the defense.
GG Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 He was really bad yesterday. Yikes. Bye AJ. Yup. Makes me hate Dolphins more for picking up Coples and then getting slammed anyway. We're desperately thin at LB. What are the moves - Tarpley gone, Kyle on IR. Is Red Bryant back?
YoloinOhio Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I know steward is starting for Bradham but assume they will sign someone to take tarpley's spot. I wonder who. Spikes!!! Nah. He's suspended.
Blokestradamus Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 If we were cutting linebackers due to poor play, they;d all be gone by now. Feels very much like a sacrifice for the masses.

thebandit27 Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 He was absolutely atrocious yesterday. To me, his release is an indictment of the state of the LB position entering the season; how can you ever let your team be in a position that a guy that bad has to play?
boyst Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I know steward is starting for Bradham but assume they will sign someone to take tarpley's spot. I wonder who. Spikes!!! Nah. He's suspended.no he is not. Aparantly the ruling was that he could serve his suspension whilst not on an active roster. That means he should be available.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 30, 2015 Author Posted November 30, 2015 PS--what happened to Bradham? Ankle injury.
Blokestradamus Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 um - no. *Slight difference* between tarpley the UDFA and the two starters. There's a distinct lack of accountability. AJ played poorly, no doubt. I'm just saying that people are calling for heads to be chopped off and they got their wish.

Blokestradamus Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 i am not one of them - but this move is really not surprising after watching him play yesterday. I just think that if every marginal player got cut after playing badly in relief, IK would've been long gone after the Bengals game. I'm putting this firmly in the 'Rex gonna Rex' file and move on. I'm not dying on a hill for AJ Tarpley

Blokestradamus Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I think IK should be cut. He's awful. It's so weird with IK. No marginal player gets the second chance he got. He's Jerry's backup but he's more Mario than Jerry. Nothing makes a damn bit of sense.
The Big Cat Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 So most of us are on board that linebacker and safety play has severely hamstrung this year's defense. But most people still want to believe it's the scheme to blame. Okay.
Kirby Jackson Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 (edited) This may or may not be the thread for it, but the Bills have really missed Ty Powell this year. He is (or maybe was now) extremely athletic. He would have played quite a bit. The same goes for Jarius Wynn. Wynn > IK & Powell > Tarpley Edited November 30, 2015 by Kirby Jackson
