stevestojan Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 "offensively, it wasn't just DB, it was everybody.." Gotta love TD's honesty. 241874 He should leave the motivational speeches for preseason...
Navy Chief Navy Pride Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 "offensively, it wasn't just DB, it was everybody.." Gotta love TD's honesty. 241874 Honesty? ..... I think he's just sucking him off a little before they cut ties...Don't need bad PR and stuff.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 Honesty? ..... I think he's just sucking him off a little before they cut ties...Don't need bad PR and stuff. Don't kid yourself. It WAS everybody.
Rico Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 Don't kid yourself. It WAS everybody. 241932 Lucky for us everybody didn't leave.
KOKBILLS Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 He should leave the motivational speeches for preseason... 241880 I thought TD was anything but motivational today! He really did come right out and state, plain as day, that the Offense was not good enough...period...Granted he dispursed the blame, but let's face facts, this Press Conference was not about Jonas Jennings... I personally love what TD said today because it was the Gods honest truth...This Team was not good enough on Offense last Year, and they need to get better...I think that message was heard loud and clear, and obviously the Bills are not done addressing the Offense overall...
Greg de'Ville Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 "offensively, it wasn't just DB, it was everybody.." I hope he's not including WM with this broad brush.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 Lucky for us everybody didn't leave. No it's easier to blame one person. But all will be fine with JP. And Shane Matthews backing-up of course.

He *wasn't* good enough either -- he was near the top of the league in runs for negative yards. How many 2nd and 3rd and shorts did he fail to pick up? Part of that is the OL, and part is the RB. He has room for improvement, as does everyone else. CW
stevestojan Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 I thought TD was anything but motivational today! 241939 You know I was kidding, right?

CW 241947 You know that Barry Sanders used to lead the league in that category right? Also let me ask you, how many 3rd and shorts did he make for us? You aren't gonna make them all. Willis is the best offensive football player we have. We are lacking a lineman or two and a TE to make this offense really work.
KOKBILLS Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 Don't kid yourself. It WAS everybody. 241932 And the Parade Rain begins... Don't kid yourself, the easiest way to improve the Offense is with a QB who is better than 13th best in the AFC, and 25th best in the League Overall...I'm not saying JP will do that in 2005, but the Reward compared to Risk factor is FAR higher at QB than any other Position in this Offense... And all JP has to do is cut the dumb mistakes in half and he'll outperform Bledsoe next Season guaranteed...I have no idea if he'll do that, but I'll trust Mularkey, Clements, and Wyche know better than I...
KOKBILLS Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 You know I was kidding, right? 241948 10-4!
Fezmid Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 You know that Barry Sanders used to lead the league in that category right? You're comparing WM to Barry Sanders?! Hey look, it works in reverse too. *sigh* CW
KOKBILLS Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 I'll drink to that! 241945 I'd say we should raise a Glass today Brother!!! It's been a long, arduous Road...The funny thing is My Best Friend is a Cowboys Fan, and now he's sweating bullets!!!!
RuntheDamnBall Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 10-4! 241967 You mean 10-6 and playoffs, right?
BF_in_Indiana Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 You're comparing WM to Barry Sanders?! Hey look, it works in reverse too. *sigh* CW 241975 No, what I'm saying is that that category is worthless. So what if he has 20 or 30 negative runs a year? He breaks that many 20+ yard runs to make up for it.
KOKBILLS Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 You mean 10-6 and playoffs, right? 241988 That will certainly do just fine!
