Bryce Paup Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Besides a couple errant throws, I think he played good enough to get the team a win, Dropped passes by wide open receivers didn't help much but overall he protected the football, made some good throws, and scrambled when he needed to. The one thing I would have liked to see more was for him to run more and often. The Offense did not lose this game at all, with the weather being as bad as it was and the yards we gained and the points we put up (Really 24) against a really good Chiefs Defense, 20 to 24 points should've been more than enough to win this game, But on defense with the way KC moved the ball in the first half against the over matched Overrated Rex Ryan defense, adjustments should've been made, something that Jim Schwartz DID!!!!
26CornerBlitz Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 I'd say he had a good 1st half. But he missed on several key throws and held the ball too long on the sack fumble.
YoloinOhio Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 (edited) Yes, he was pretty good! No picks again or bad decisions. Just the one fumble, but didn't lead to points. Some great throws and runs. Better D next week and I feel good about that game. Edited November 29, 2015 by YoloinOhio
Kelly the Dog Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 He was good if not very good. One turnover in that stadium on a cold and rainy day and three TDs is excellent. To me it was Roman and Rex's fault as much as TT to not force the ball to Sammy in the second half. They just have to do it. It's a no brainer.
Bryce Paup Posted November 29, 2015 Author Posted November 29, 2015 Defense did not show up at all, Tyrod made up for last week by basically putting up 24 points on a very good defense in awful weather I tip my hat to this kid he did all that he could
Big C Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 He needs to get the ball out faster and/or take off faster sometimes. His tentative tendencies (poetic, isn't it?) can lead to missed opportunities and turnovers. Otherwise, I thought he was efficient.
sodbuster Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 The players didn't play all that poorly. There were a handful of very bad coaching decisions that cost them this game.
PearlHowardman Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 TT played OK. I say that because I was not at all impressed with KC today.
Nuncha Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 He threw over watkins head on his only target in the 2nd half. He holds the ball too long (sack fumble) - needs to decide to run sooner. He did OK but could have been much better.
John from Riverside Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Yes, he was pretty good! No picks again or bad decisions. Just the one fumble, but didn't lead to points. Some great throws and runs. Better D next week and I feel good about that game. The problem is that he played pretty awesome today......but not for 4 quarters Now...you dont see too many qbs do that in the NFL.....
PearlHowardman Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 The problem is that he played pretty awesome today......but not for 4 quarters Again, KC did not impress today. Any average NFL QB could have done what TT did today with KC.
playman Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 given that he has played less snaps in his career than winston or mariota he is definitely not the problem. can give us solid play til we hit on a pick. coaching is paramount. and lacking........
Freddie's Dead Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 TT had a good first half. His inability to take care of the ball and target Sammy hurt us badly in the 2nd half.
John from Riverside Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Again, KC did not impress today. Any average NFL QB could have done what TT did today with KC. How would you know?
PearlHowardman Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 How would you know? Seriously? I have been watching NFL football for a long time. I was not at all impressed with the KC defense today. Not at all. The KC defense actually made TT look 1/2 way decent today.
Bryce Paup Posted November 29, 2015 Author Posted November 29, 2015 TT played OK. I say that because I was not at all impressed with KC today. throwing for nearly 300 yards 3TD's, no INTS putting up 24 on KC in Arrowhead in horrible conditions is playing OK?, That same KC defense held Phillip Rivers without a touchdown, our Defense Sucked bad today , Period
Kelly the Dog Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Seriously? I have been watching NFL football for a long time. I was not at all impressed with the KC defense today. Not at all. The KC defense actually made TT look 1/2 way decent today. If you watch a lot of football you know for a fact that great quarterbacks get great catches from their receivers and mistakes from defenses in every game. TT was very good overall. That said, it's criminally negligent for TT, Roman and Rex, whomever was at fault, for not getting the ball to Sammy. The last three or four catches he made, including his two TDs, he had two guys on him. That is no excuse whatsoever.
Kelly the Dog Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Tyrod was Tyrod 3 TDs and 300 yards and no INTs and throws over the middle?
