Felonious Monk Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 (edited) Stedman Bailey. Sad. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/14219437/stedman-bailey-st-louis-rams-shot Edited November 25, 2015 by Felonious Monk
DDD Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Not sure if this was random or provoked. Either way he's fortunate to be alive with two gun shots to the head. Very sad indeed.
Captain Hindsight Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Players really shouldnt be out at 8:45 PM Hope he has a quick recovery
flomoe Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 It's sad what has become of the cities in this country. They have become war zones for gangs and other criminals. Miami is rapidly approaching Detroit and DC as the larger cesspools in the country. I guess black lives really don't matter to this element.
Beef Jerky Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Pew pew lazor beams... His driver is in worse condition then he is. He is a lucky guy.
DC Tom Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 the team believes Bailey's injuries are not life-threatening. This evaluation brought to you by the same people that left a barely-conscious Case Keenam on the field.
Agent 91 Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Gotta be gang related, right? Just terrible. Why Are you people serious? We are really making jokes about someone being shot in the head? Wow
Pete Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 I read the story and Stedman was in the car with 2 kids and a relative. The relative shielded the two kids, took on many bullets, and is in critical condition. Very heroic. And it sounds like wrong time, wrong place, bad luck

machine gun kelly Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 I'm glad to hear he is ok. I just don't understand why guys who have a one time shot at wealth and can invest for their life would put themselves in positions where they can ruin it. Maybe he never did anything wrong, and maybe a random act, giving tons of benefit of the doubt, but noone gets shot in any of the neighborhoods I frequent, ever. I don't know him so assume he is a back up or ST, but even so, you can still create a great nest egg for your future when you move onto your real career which will last 30 years.

Spoken like a man who lives in a gated enclave and never goes out, ever. I suppose Bailey was wearing a short skirt too, and probably a hoodie, why would he risk ruination like that?
Sisyphean Bills Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Oh, for toast sake. Spoken like a man who lives in a gated enclave and never goes out, ever. I suppose Bailey was wearing a short skirt too, and probably a hoodie, why would he risk ruination like that? True, but, in some countries, gun ownership is illegal and shootings are consequently less routine events of the day.
FireChan Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 True, but, in some countries, gun ownership is illegal and shootings are consequently less routine events of the day. How do the shooting rates change when you throw out Chicago, DC and other hotbeds?
LB3 Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 (edited) How do the shooting rates change when you throw out Chicago, DC and other hotbeds? Stop that. The only places where shootings aren't happening on the reg are gated enclaves. Edited April 13, 2016 by LBSeeBallLBGetBall
BobbyC81 Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 (edited) Stop that. The only places where shootings aren't happening on the reg are gated enclaves. We need to learn from Japan Edited April 13, 2016 by LittleJoeCartwright
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Why does it seem like these sort of bad things happen in Miami?
