YoloinOhio Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 @Buccigross: Tom Brady was pressured (hit, sack, or duress) on 20 of his 40 dropbacks Monday, his most in a game in the past 7 seasons #espnstats
BuffaloHokie13 Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Yes. The scheme seems to be setting in and feeling more natural for the players. Should only improve over time as well, communication still needs to improve though.
YoloinOhio Posted November 24, 2015 Author Posted November 24, 2015 (edited) Pats were giving up on 3rd down so Tommy wouldn't get hit? Running when they should pass because they were scared. Tom was screaming obscenities at his OL. This was without 3/4 of our starting DL most of the game. It was a bright spot - Rex has made adjustments. The Bills hung with the Pats in a MNF game at Gillette where the majority of the league gets blown out. Even some of the big passing plays he did make he made from his back. No other QB makes those completions. Edited November 24, 2015 by YoloinOhio
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 The pats o line is patch work of scrubs and the skills players are decimated. The Broncos may well crush them.
YoloinOhio Posted November 24, 2015 Author Posted November 24, 2015 The pats o line is patch work of scrubs and the skills players are decimated. The Broncos may well crush them. That is their starting OL. Only guy not there has been on IR for several weeks (Solder).
Canadian Bills Fan Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 If this is what we did to Brady then imagine what we can do to Alex Smith! CBF

BillsFan-4-Ever Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 The pats o line is patch work of scrubs and the skills players are decimated. The Broncos may well crush them. I hope they do. Letter to Rex - Please send Wade your game plan. Leroi Mr Insider. Please make sure Rex gets that message. Thanks
YoloinOhio Posted November 24, 2015 Author Posted November 24, 2015 OMAHA! OMAHA!??? Naw, REX RYAN! REX RYAN! i heard that on the broadcast - nice trolling, Tom!
TPS Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 As much blustering as Rex does over the pats, it was kind of funny.
Mark Vader Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Defense did it's job last night. The prevented the Patriots* from delivering the knock out punch after McKelvin's fumble by holding them to a FG, and gave us a chance to tie the game in the final two minutes. We need to see this from them the rest of the way.

Max997 Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 i really like this defense dropping guys back and playing some zone
YoloinOhio Posted November 24, 2015 Author Posted November 24, 2015 Hughes coverage on Gronk again - he did it in the first game too. Not sure how many DEs can do that.
Kelly the Dog Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Very impressed with the game planning and defensive playcalling, but you can never have a defensive formation where Manny Lawson is in the slot covering Amendola one on one. And perhaps it's hindsight 20/20 but Duke Williams cannot cover as well as Leodis, and probably shouldn't have been in there when Rambo was out a few plays. That was the single play that killed us.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Mentioned this is another thread. Didn't help calling an all out blitz with Duke covering Amendola as a result and not knowing what the !@#$ he was doing. Watch that play again. Duke was completely lost. The guy should be cut. Duke has been a part time player right, a 2nd string Safety? Not making excuses, I just needed to say this You live by the Blitz, you die by the Blitz - Marv Levy.
