I still don't know how that !@#$ linesman blows the whistle on that play. !@#$ing potato-head.

It seems their official explanation is that Ryan got in his way and distracted him into whistling. Expect them to fine Rex and pass off the "makeup yards" under the "palpably unfair act" rule.

All things considered, that the Pats only have 10 points at this point is a minor miracle. Need to capitalize on offense. Tyrod is a second-half player (if you haven't noticed). Let's Go Buffalo!

Defender got within 5 yards of Brady outside the pocket. Automatic whistle.

Is it the same ruling as when there's a whistle on a running play where progress appeared to be stopped, the ref blows the whistle at about the same instant the ball comes loose. Even though the whistle did blow, the ball can still be recovered, but can't be advanced. Seems that's the ruling that they applied here.

we are coming inches away from a sack strip fumble a few times... hopefully we can get to him in a sitiuation like that next time and not need Gilmore to make a play like that. More often than not, Brady hits those plays... We are hitting him, but not bringing him down with a bunch of very good chances.

Is anyone having issues with ESPN sound cutting in and out?

Yes -- the sound isn't cutting out nearly often enough. I can still hear Gruden consistently.

I believe that, because the league bends over backwards to absolve officials of any and all responsibility for error.

But it's still total goatshit. Refs !@#$ed up. Badly.
