YoloinOhio Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 (edited) @TaylorPrice: BREAKING: Colin Kaepernick placed on Injured Reserve by #49ers. He had been listed as probable for Sunday's game Season (and career with niners, most likely) over Edited November 21, 2015 by YoloinOhio

YoloinOhio Posted November 21, 2015 Author Posted November 21, 2015 (edited) I think Niners will take a QB high in the draft and Kaep will be cut or traded before April 1 when he is due 11 mill @mattbarrows: Colin Kaepernick had second opinion on left shoulder, which found "significant tear" in his labrum, per source. Could have surgery Tuesday. @SethWickersham: Kap has a temp disability clause in his contract: If he misses games due to injury, he pays premium, and the team is the beneficiary. His agent really let the niners beat him up to get that average salary up there
YoloinOhio Posted November 21, 2015 Author Posted November 21, 2015 His agent really let the niners beat him up to get that average salary up therethat is some contract @corryjoel: Going on IR for SF's last 7 games is costing Colin Kaepernick $875,000. His 2015 46-man active roster bonus is for $2M ($125,000 per game).
Kkspike Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 We already have a kap on the team and his name is EJ.They both suck and will be 2nd stringers hopefully not on my team.
Leroi Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Wow. If Roman is here next year, I believe he will be a Bill. Imo
Deranged Rhino Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Wow. If Roman is here next year, I believe he will be a Bill. Imo I'll take that bet.

K D Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 San Fran is a dumpster fire of a franchise. He's better off. Guys would rather retire than play on that joke of a team so what does that tell you
reddogblitz Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 I'd take CK on the Bills in half a NY heartbeat.
prissythecat Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 I'd take CK on the Bills in half a NY heartbeat. What about EJ?
Saxum Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 What about EJ? SF asked to trade for him and Bills said "NO!" - what more do you need to know in this thread?
Augie Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 i like pie I don't think the Bills would go after him I definitely prefer pie over cake. And TT over Kaep.
FireChan Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 SF asked to trade for him and Bills said "NO!" - what more do you need to know in this thread? lol wut.
LA Grant Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 Bring him in for the back-up role but allow for camp competition. Tyrod would win but Kaep is a more valuable back-up than EJ, especially paired with Roman again. EJ should be cut or traded. Draft a midround QB and there's your 3.
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 SF asked to trade for him and Bills said "NO!" - what more do you need to know in this thread? Yeah this is the first I've heard about that. From what I understand, Kaepernick's contract has a very high cap hit, which makes it very hard to deal midseason for a guy who would have to ride the bench for a few weeks to get used to the system. In the offseason teams can better manage the cap to fit a contract like that, and the Niners can cut him for little dead money if they don't get any nibbles.
