Prickly Pete Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 @SalSports: Rex says 50/50 on Kyle Williams playing by end of season. He has been greatly missed IMO They've won 2 in a row....
YoloinOhio Posted November 21, 2015 Author Posted November 21, 2015 They've won 2 in a row....and? He's been out since the middle of the game in week 6. The DL has been together for only 4 out of 9 games this year.
Bills!Win! Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Also, is Aaron Williams out for the season? What's the update on him
YoloinOhio Posted November 21, 2015 Author Posted November 21, 2015 (edited) Also, is Aaron Williams out for the season? What's the update on himno, he is on Short term IR and can come back as soon as the Eagles game. If cleared. Edit: Update @SalSports: Update on Aaron Williams from Rex: Progressing, but still stiff. Hopefully back by end of season (eligible to return to games on Dec 13) Edited November 21, 2015 by YoloinOhio
billsfan_34 Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Kyle Williams is a huge part of the D line. When he is in there the offense has alot of pieces to account for.
Saxum Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Kyle Williams is very good at penetrating OL forcing teams to adjust schemes usually trying to put a faster player on him; with "big stuff" they tend to double team but it is a different method of containing him which is why when both are in there and healthy it is a very good interior DL. Bryant is good but not on Kyle's level yet. One thing mentioned in news reports is how his leadership is missing; it does not appear to be something preventing him from being on sideline unlike some injuries where they want to keep players off sideline in case they aggravate injury So WHY?
BuffalothruMyVeins Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 I think it should be clearly stated that the fact that our defense has stayed on track in Kyle's absence has everything to do with Corbin Bryant's stepping up, and nothing to do with Kyle not being talented, and therefore replaceable.

NoSaint Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 and? He's been out since the middle of the game in week 6. The DL has been together for only 4 out of 9 games this year. For a 4 man unit playing in the NFL - that's probably about normal

I agree with this statement. I miss Kyle though. Love to watch his hustle!
Leroi Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 (edited) Why waste the roster spot? It makes no sense, He is expected to be back. Imo Edited November 21, 2015 by Leroi
BADOLBILZ Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 I think it should be clearly stated that the fact that our defense has stayed on track in Kyle's absence has everything to do with Corbin Bryant's stepping up, and nothing to do with Kyle not being talented, and therefore replaceable. Bryant is better at holding up blockers. Bryant is JAG but when Kyle has been bad in his career it's been when he isn't being allowed to pick a gap and attack it. That's the reality of this D. IMO the worst fit in this scheme of all the starters and most likely starter to not be back(along with Aaron Williams and his chronic neck issues).
26CornerBlitz Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 I thought he had a three week injury? The original estimate was 3-4 weeks: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/182058-kyle-williams-has-a-pcl-injury-out-for-nyj-ne/
bbb Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 The original estimate was 3-4 weeks: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/182058-kyle-williams-has-a-pcl-injury-out-for-nyj-ne/ I thought so...........So, WTF?!? I've never seen a year with so many sneaky injuries..............You don't know Tyrod is hurt or Karlos, etc. and then during the week you find out, they're out. Then out again, etc..........Aaron Williams back and forth, etc.
billsfan714 Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 (edited) No team is completely healthy after 10 weeks, the Pats will be without Edelman and Collins. Injuries are no excuse. The Steelers have won games with Vick And Landry Jones starting. Good teams rise above it, bad team make excuses. Edited November 22, 2015 by billsfan714
