If we end up getting David Baas and Michael Boley with our first 2 picks, I'd be okay with that. Those players would help out in critical areas of need: LG and a pass rushing LB.

I noted that the fellow said that Denver has forfeited their 3rd round choice. Not sure about that - IIRC they did lose a 3rd rounder in '02.

If Andrew Walter fell THAT far and was around for our pick, I'd definitely take him, what with the need for backup QBs on this roster. I love the Baas pick though, he's an awseome O-Lineman. Reminds me a lot of LeCharles Bentley of the Saints.

Baas and Boley works for me. Baas is an instant starter, and Boley would make an instant impact on passing downs his rookie season.

If the draft fell that way, I wouldn't complain about Baas and Boley. But rds 4-7 need to add a S, DL, WR, RB or FB

I don;t forsee him slipping that far down though. he is rated as one of the top G's

I don't understand why he's slipping, he had as good a combine as any OG available. That said if we can land him on draft day I'd be very happy as right now I think he'll be the top OG off the board, most likely in the top 10 of Round 2 and even sneaking into Round 1.

Hey, I'd be doing cartwheels (not a pretty sight, as I'm 230 lbs) if we got Baas-Boley. Usually no OG gets picked in RD1 and teams might have other needs early on that causes Baas to fall. The next tier of Guards is pretty good too.
