Doc Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Good luck with your post-football life. He was a decent player and hopefully he invested the money he made wisely.
Kirby Jackson Posted April 2, 2016 Author Posted April 2, 2016 Good luck to him in his post-football life. He was a good community and family guy.
hondo in seattle Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 (edited) Scott hasn't been blessed with great knees. But it seems he's been blessed with a loving family and that's far more important. Best wishes to him. Class act. Edited April 2, 2016 by hondo in seattle
4merper4mer Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 If I'm Andrew Luck I don't sign a contract unless Grigson is gone. A career is a terrible thing to waste. Grigson's career won't be the last one Kim Jung QB ruins. Agree with the consensus on Chandler. I wish him all the best. His snow shovel spike in Detroit was great.
Nanker Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Wonder how he popped his knee. Best of luck to you, Scott Chandler.
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Six weeks not able to walk sounds strange for a normal knee injury if ligament. Usually with ligament damage after surgery, they have you up walking the next day. This must be something much worse. Wonder if he got some type of injury settlement from the Pats, as thought you can't cut an injured player, even if contract expired, aren't Pats still on the hook until he's healthy?

Depends on the nature of how the injury occurred. The only news we got between the cut and surgery was trying out for a team. It could be non-football, unless I missed info on it
3rdand12 Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Good luck to him in his post-football life. He was a good community and family guy. Absolutely. and we will always have the snow shovel TD celebration, which was pretty cool actually : )

machine gun kelly Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 I wish him the best. It seemed from interviews he carried himself well.
CSBill Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Always like him as a player and much more so as a person. He'll be successful at whatever his next career is.
Blokestradamus Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Scott made more of himself than I think most people would've expected. I've not been shy in voicing my opinion on his talent level but it was never personal. He's a great guy with a beautiful family and I wish him and Alissa all the best for the future. I hope that I have what they have some day.
26CornerBlitz Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Scott Chandler's knee surgery knocks him out for 2016 and maybe for good Chandler said in a Facebook post that his latest surgery could mean the end of his career.
