Executive Order?

Executive Order it is. though not via the Census, per se.

No, it's stupider.  Determine citizenship through "other sources."  That's...not actually possible.

If it were possible, eVerify wouldn't be the steaming pile of ***** it currently is.  And note that one of the big problems with eVerify's reliability is people not self-reporting their citizenship status.  So this problem circles back to "asking people, and hoping they answer."

Plus...even if they somehow make this "look in other sources" idea work, they'll be collecting enough data to determine not just citizenship, but legal residency.  Which would not have been possible with the census question alone.  So detractors of the citizenship have managed to stupidly maneuver this issue into exactly what they originally feared.  Good job, idiots.

So if I understand it correctly, President Trump just gave the Commerce Department access to all government databases including social security, food stamps, the IRS, all of it.   That is a lot of data.

I wonder if ICE agents will be delivering census forms? ?

This is one interesting video!!

On April 29th, 2019, Fisher Sand & Gravel Co. was contacted by We Build the Wall to construct a half mile of fence in Sunland Park, New Mexico. The location was deemed “Unbuildable” by government agencies due to the harsh construction conditions. In just over one month of being notified of this project, Fisher procured and fabricated the bollard fence panels and finished all construction within two weeks.

It's "unbuildable" under federal labor guidelines and OSHA regulations.

But it's pretty easy to get around those by hiring migrant labor...

What makes you say the people building it didn't follow OSHA regulations, and had migrant labor working for them?

ICE raids have already begun in Bay Area, immigration attorneys say

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY (KRON) — While the focus is on upcoming weekend ICE raids, immigration attorneys in the Bay Area say  those raids have already begun.

A group of Bay Area immigration attorneys entered federal ICE offices in San Francisco during the noon hour Thursday to demand information about the threat of immigration raids this weekend.

During AOC's testimony there was a medical emergency which interrupted her impassioned drivel. She stopped and all sound was cut off while it was dealt with. It was the best few minutes of her testimony.

And what the bleeding hell are 3 Justice (HAHA) Democrats doing on the panel? Oh, that's right, it's a circus that any able-minded non-Leftist has lost control of.

.

Tlaib: "First, no one is illegal. That term is derogatory now because it dehumanizes people. You can say any other forms of maybe, "coming in without regulations" or so forth. The use of "illegal" is disrespectful and I ask my colleagues to try in so many ways to not dehumanize our immigrant neighbors who are trying to come in for safe haven."

And she cried soon after because of course.

What the %$#& has happened to our country?

Oh, and they are called "illegal aliens", kthxbai~

So, let me get this straight. From her testimony, she wants to redefine "illegal" because it does not fit her narrative. While at the same time, she is criticizing Trump saying that he is redefining what it means to be poor to fit his narrative. ?

What has happened is somehow we’ve become a nation where it’s okay, heck even expected behavior to be a bunch of whiny soft-a$$ bit***s. Truly disgusting and getting worse by the day. This hyper political correctness is so out of hand. Bottom line, if you are here illegally you are an illegal. If you are a convicted criminal, you should spend time in jail not be excused because society has “ discriminated against you”. You are either straight, gay or just can’t deal with your gayness; there is nothing else. If you suck at school you either don’t work hard enough or you’re just dumb. If you need a “ support animal” to get through daily life situations you are spineless and should probably off yourself to get out of your misery. The truth should not be taboo.
