26CornerBlitz Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Wired for Sound: Preston Brown (3:56)Listen in as linebacker Preston Brown put on the mic during the Week 10 win over the New York Jets and made a team high 8 tackles.
K D Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Rex's D calls for a stud at that position. Preston Brown is just very average. If we are going to have a great defense we need a stud MLB
VanCity Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Preston was a stud last year. He has been somewhat of a victim of circumstance, much like Bradham. He is not a prototype MLB, but is the best player on the team at that position, as necessitated by Rex's scheme. He is a good LB, but a great MLB would make a massive difference in Rex's D.
machine gun kelly Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 The obvious is these players are meant for Schwartz defense not Rex.
John from Riverside Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Dont give up on Preston just yet...I have seen him make some very good plays
Doc Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 I was hoping Rex would see what Schwartz did and build on it, not change everything. Hopefully they're still learning and are getting/will get it.
Tsaikotic Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 should call it "wired for no sound"...half the time they don't say anything on these segments...wheres all the trash talk you hear about?...isn't he the "QB" of the defense, why'd they cut out his direction and leadership of the D?
