/dev/null Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Tylenol You will be very popular at the end of the party
ExiledInIllinois Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 (edited) White Zinfandel??? If that isn't the definition of an oxymoron I don't know what is. Not really, but I do see where you are going w/it. Zinfandel is a type of grape. That grape comes in different colors... Like Chef said about the rose or the red. Are you thinking of "tautological" or "tautology" instead of "oxymoron?" Who better to bring this to your attention than me! :-) :-) ;-) Tautological name places is redundant. Examples like: La Brea Tar Pits = The Tar Tar Pits Lake Michigan = Lake Large Lake Lake Tahoe = Lake The Lake Or something that is a drink, etc... Chai Tea = Tea Tea (really masala chai) Here is a list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_tautological_place_names Everclear or GTFOHe's in NYS... Do they even sell it there? Here, I think you can by that stuff @ the gas station... Go figure. Edited November 17, 2015 by ExiledInIllinois

Like Chef said about the rose or the red. The grape does not come in different colors. Rose wine is made by leaving the juice to macerate with the skins for a shorter amount of time.

unbillievable Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 I think you missed the first line of my post. It's a general statement. If you don't drink alcohol, then bring a case of root beer. Once, i brought a bucket of chicken.
mead107 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Milk and cookies. Cakebread wine works for me.
plenzmd1 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Chef, I drink Rose with lunch in the summer quite a bit. Not sweet Rose like white zin, but nice dry Rose can be quite nice on a summer day.

I love me (or used to anyway) a good chilled rose on a hot day. White zinfandel isn't a grape variety. Oops!!! I already pointed that out to him.
