YoloinOhio Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 @RapSheet: #Eagles QB Sam Bradford has an AC joint sprain in his non-throwing shoulder, source said (as @LesBowen reported). Unclear how much time out. Also a concussion. Lasted longer than I thought he would
Max997 Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Could Mark Sanchez start vs Bills when they visit Philly on Dec 13?
BringBackFergy Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Sam Bradford should sign an endorsement deal with Aflac Disability Insurance.
BADOLBILZ Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 (edited) Could Mark Sanchez start vs Bills when they visit Philly on Dec 13? Unfortunately they have proven they are better off with Sanchez than we are with EJ and it doesn't look like Tyrod's knee is ever going to heal this season......without that run threat he's not the same..........wouldn't be surprised to find out after the season that he needs surgery. Something definitely not right there, he had almost a month off and he still looks hobbled. Edited November 16, 2015 by #BADOL
Special K Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Never thought he would make it this long. I like Kornhieser's nickname for him: "The Human Ace Bandage"

Something definitely not right there, he had almost a month off and he still looks hobbled. I'm not sure that Tyrod would have had a great day yesterday at 100%. The line was leaky on drop backs and the Jets sold out to keep Tyrod in pocket while neglecting setting the edge on Shady's side.
TheFunPolice Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Bradford's eyes look like he's taken a few too many shots to the head.

Kelly the Dog Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Bradford has a strain to his non throwing shoulder as well as a concussion. They don't know how long he will be out but Dirty Sanchez could easily be the starter for a couple weeks.
The Frankish Reich Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 (edited) Unfortunately they have proven they are better off with Sanchez than we are with EJ and it doesn't look like Tyrod's knee is ever going to heal this season......without that run threat he's not the same..........wouldn't be surprised to find out after the season that he needs surgery. Something definitely not right there, he had almost a month off and he still looks hobbled. I do think Sanchez is better right now than even a nominally healthy Bradford. Which is too bad for us. Suddenly the "easy" part of our schedule is looking rather troubling: KC, Bradford-less Eagles, Romo back with the Cowboys, Redskins actually clicking on offense (!) ... nobody ever said it was gonna be easy. Big Blitz Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Everybody's offense "clicks" vs Brother of Rex. And the Chiefs got the Broncos at the right time---Manning is awful....Sanders was hurt....they still can't run the ball....Ware and Talib were out. Love our chances. #PrayforTyrodsMCL
Max997 Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Bradford's eyes look like he's taken a few too many shots to the head. he's always looked like that, like someone asked him to do a math probelm and he's stuck
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Could Mark Sanchez start vs Bills when they visit Philly on Dec 13? http://espn.go.com/blog/philadelphia-eagles/post/_/id/14488/sam-bradfords-injury-brings-mark-sanchez-into-picture After the game, Sanchez sounded as though he expects to play next Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, at least.
billsfan_34 Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Bradford is his own worst enemy. He doesnt get rid of the ball and at this stage I think the dude is just not very good. He took a beating yesterday but doesnt play smart enough to live to fight another day.
BADOLBILZ Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 And yet is STILL 5-2 as a starter I'm a big Tyrod fan.......but from thinking he might play just a week after injuring his knee to still being gimpy and obviously MUCH less effective in run situations 5 weeks later......something isn't adding up. My guess is that he has something busted up in that knee beside the ligament strain. But the post was about the backups. EJ is 0-2 as a starter this year, including pretty much single handedly sinking them in London. Sanchez was 4-4 last year with Philly. I haven't quit on EJ but I said all along it was going to be a LONG road to get him to game manager status.
YoloinOhio Posted November 16, 2015 Author Posted November 16, 2015 @RapSheet: Based on initial tests, #Eagles QB Sam Bradford expected to miss this Sunday & potentially Thursday, Im told. Expect Mark Sanchez to start.
Heitz Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Bradford also with a separated (non-throwing) shoulder: http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/14162444/philadelphia-eagles-quarterback-sam-bradford-separated-shoulder Now THIS guy is injury prone
