Monday, everyone suggested that the paltry debate schedule was doing more harm than good for Hillary, whose poll numbers continue to tank:

and Lo & behold:

Surprise! DNC Adds Last Minute Democratic Presidential Town Hall Event to Calendar

CNN GIVES HILLARY ONE LAST CHANCE...

Next football season should be good for a laugh.

Jim Nantz: Roethlesberger in the shotgun

Phill Simms: That's right Jim. This next play is going to be a pass. Or it's going to be a run

Nantz: And don't forget to tune in after the game to an all new Madam Secretary where the blonde haired female Secretary of State saves the world from stereotypical bad guys from outside the country while being thwarted at every turn by those scheming opposition party members

To Vote in New Hampshire’s Primary, You’ll Need an ID

For the first time ever, primary voters will be required to furnish identification before voting in New Hampshire’s primary elections February 9.

First implemented in New Hampshire’s 2012 general election cycle, the goal is to crack down on voter fraud.

Citing multiple instances of actual voter fraud, New Hampshire authorities defend the new laws. They also claim not one person has been prohibited from voting since the new regulations took effect in 2012.

Voters who arrive at the polls without requisite ID can still vote. But first they’ll be required to sign an affidavit attesting to their identity, and a poll worker will snap a photo.

But that's not racist, because there's only maybe eight non-whites in NH, hence no one to discriminate against.

BREAKING: The DNC and Bernie Sanders confirm agreement on four new Dem debates: http://wapo.st/1StwCzI

A DNC spokesman tells us: "The debates will be sanctioned." One in Flint, one in CA, one in PA, and one in NH.

LOL...........How predictable with the Flint debate ................I wonder who they'll blame ?

Why bother with the debates ?

Just decide the democrat nomination with a "coin flip"

Four things to watch in first head-to-head Democratic debate

http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/four-things-watch-first-head-head-democratic-debate

This should be a debate worth watching, especially with O'Malley gone. You can probably expect two hours of softballs from MSNBC, but I'll be curious to see if Bernie changes his tune about her email problem. He won Hillary's favor in the last debate with his 'enough with the emails bit, already,' but I wouldn't be surprised if he changes that tune tonight after realizing what a big mistake that was.

So while I'm not one to enjoy a fight between two old, angry white people, this is what comprises the SoProg party now, so we may as well watch. Perhaps Bernie will slip an Ambien in Hillary's pre-debate Geritol cocktail.

These extra debates have only come about because the Clinton camp must feel she has the advantage over Sanders on stage. Why Bernie has been so cordial to her is anyone's guess. Party orders? He wants to be VP or in the cabinet? Clinton camp has some good dirt on Bernie? He's banging her?

Poor judgment that rivals Hillary's email scandal.

I thought that was a very good debate last night. It was refreshing to see a relatively intelligent discussion of the topics. I think the candidates effectively laid out their positions. No personal attacks. They did not dodge any questions. The moderators did a nice job. One of the best debates I've ever watched in terms of actually helping to inform the viewers.

Also, I think both candidates improved their campaigns. I agree with what one of the analysts said afterwards: Clinton most likely will close the gap in the upcoming New Hampshire primary and Sanders probably will close the gap nationally.

I read an unintentionally funny comment online last night about how the candidates were discussing the things that are important to Americans, like climate change.

Meanwhile, here's an interesting article on why millennials think Bernie is a dreamboat.

The first is that, to millennials, Sanders’s socialism is a feature, not a bug.

Much of the current conversation about Sanders’s “democratic socialism” is predicated on whether Americans can look past this supposedly toxic label. But millennials love Sanders not despite his socialism, but because of it.

“Socialism” has never been a dirty word for the current cohort of youth, who either didn’t live through the Cold War or don’t remember it. We are more likely to associate socialism with prosperous, egalitarian, relatively well-functioning Scandinavian states — the kinds of places that produce awesome things like Ikea and “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” — than with autocrats who starve their people.

Many of us also entered the job market just as unbridled capitalism appeared to blow up the world economy.

Perhaps for this reason, millennials actually seem to prefer socialism to capitalism.

It was civil yes. However like each of their other debates, they barely even address the big federal issues with any substance. Debt, budgets, entitlements, economic growth policies, national security and immigration get little air time and what little is offered is bad policy. That and Sanders bites his tongue on Hillary's abysmal record while Hillary continues to deceive.
