BillsShredder83 Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Garrison "Big Hooves" Sanborns status as franchise long snapper has sadly come and gone. Who are the long snappers that we think will be available late in the 1st round this coming draft?
jimmy10 Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 How many times did we punt in the second half? Law of averages says even a robot will screw up once in a while.
Dorkington Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 They catch worse snaps than that all the time, that's not on Sanborn.

SectionC3 Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 The conitions weren't great, but I thought he had an off night. The snaps once first two puts were scary. Also seems like the fg team is a little out of rhythm. It showed on the miss.
Augie Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 I don't think we'll pick high enough to get a good long snapper.
Malazan Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 There seems to be a lot of people who did not read the actual post in this thread.

MDH Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 It was one snap... He had a few that drifted right. Even the very last one did a little.
Saxum Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 A lot of people do not realize poster is a troll with such screen name obviously .....
4BillsintheBurgh Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 I got the feeling Schmidt was watching the clock instead of the ball because he didn't react to the snap until it was halfway to him.

I actually think you're right - but I think it's ironic after Jay Skurski gave him this mid term grade: • Garrison Sanborn: The next bad snap Sanborn has will be the first. Seriously, the guy never misses. He’s as steady as they come at the position. Grade: A+.
justnzane Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Lol at the thread. Sanborn did have an off night, which resulted the Schmidt having trouble handling the snap on the punt obviously as well as one of Kicker Jesus's kicks (it may have been the missed PAT). If he does have another day like this, they'll look for somebody next year. That said, I want a long snapper who does magic or is alcoholic of Janikowski level, or at least something interesting.
cfbillsfan Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 That was all on Schmidt. He just muffed it. Yep, gotta bring that down. As my little League coach once said to me 'wake up out there!' could be overly harsh maybe....
DC Greg Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 He's never been elite! God bless this short fatish man for getting paid to play football as long as he has. We can find a better athlete for this position.
/dev/null Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 You want an elite snapper on this team? Draft Kate Upton
