But the Iraq War Bush launched led directly to a flood of refugees in Syria and they couldn't handle it. Should we just forget that?

The war in Iraq started by Bush was a bad idea for several reasons.

I heard a lot about this when I was over there recently. Europeans are rightly furious.

70% of the refugees are adult males yet every news stories shows nothing but cowering women and small children.

Sounds like 5th column to me

If Europe wants to commit cultural suicide all the power to them. Once the refugees decide they don't feel like assimilating and set up Berlinistan and Frankfortistan they will slowly conquer Europe through demands and the overly PC European governments will all appease them. Then they will complete their conquest from their wombs of their women. In 1 generations time Europe will be changed permanently.

If we watch it happen to them and allow it to happen here we are stupid.

UPDATE 13/11/15: After gaining a million and a half views in less than five days, the Open Gates video was taken down by YouTube following a copyright infringement. Although the rights company involved in the claim has been named in allegedly spurious claims in the past, there is no reason to suggest that is the case with this video. This article now links to a video mirror on Dutch website Dumpert.

Sweden reintroducing "temporary" border controls. https://euobserver.com/migration/131078 …

Sweden has a border control problem of a different sort. They are taking in about 300,000 people in a year. That is 3% of their total population. They've had a rise to power of a one-issue anti-immigration party in the last 6 months and it's making a mash-up of their politics.

'Paris changes everything' on refugees: Merkel allies http://bit.ly/1HPBNQJ

And as Europe takes a harder line on refugees, the perception among those refugees is that they're even further oppressed...and ISIS gains more recruits. Even more so if the EU members go to the length of deporting some of the refugees already there. Anyone think that this didn't factor in to ISIS' thinking?

Never should have allowed them in in the first place.

OBAMA ON SYRIAN REFUGEE CRISIS: “SOCIETY HAS NOT PASSED THIS EXAM WITH GOOD GRADES,”

the semi-retired president observed after he “walked in late Sunday on a moment of silence being held by world leaders in Turkey to honor the victims of Friday’s terrorist attacks in Paris,” the Washington Times reports.

Why do we keep letting this great man down time and time and time again?

Bingo.

And if you let them all in, IS members will be a part of the crowds inevitably, as was shown.

6 in one hand, half a dozen in the other.

Ben Rhodes Spreads Lies About Vetting Syrian Refugees on Sunday News Talk Shows
by Patrick Poole

Original Article

In the wake of Friday’s horrific terror attacks in Paris, Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes was dispatched to the Sunday morning talk shows to spin his boss’ claim the previous day that the ISIS threat had been “contained.”

But he was also asked about the ability of the Obama administration to properly vet a wave of 10,000 Syrian refugees announced in September in light of reports that one or more of the Paris terrorists had entered and transited the EU as a Syrian refugee.

And yet Rhodes’ response that measures to properly vet the Syrian refugees are in place flatly contradicts the recent sworn congressional testimony of FBI officials.

So states like Texas, Arkansas, and Alabama are refusing refugees now (says their governors.)

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/11/16/obama-plan-to-bring-in-syrian-refugees-after-paris-attacks-increases-gop/

On Monday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced that he sent a letter to President Obama saying that Texas will not take any Syrian refugees in light of the attacks.

"Neither you nor any federal official can guarantee that Syrian refugees will not be part of any terroristic activity," Abbott wrote. "As such, opening our door to them irresponsibly exposes our fellow Americans to unacceptable peril."

He joined a growing list of governors who have said they will not resettle Syrian refugees, including Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson in opposing the move, who said Monday in a tweet, "As Governor I will oppose Syrian refugees being located to Arkansas."

In a statement, Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley said he reached his decision "[a]fter full consideration of this weekend's attacks of terror on innocent citizens in Paris ... I will not stand complicit to a policy that places the citizens of Alabama in harm's way."

My question is, they can't really do anything, right? Besides withholding state aid and not aiding the settling process, what clout do they have?
