4merper4mer Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 The trend line of this conversation has nanoaggressed many......especially those who have not read it. I'm not sure there is a solution but if you all put on your ruby slippers and click 3 times wishing for the world these wonderful young people envision, maybe there can be progress.

The supreme irony is that for people who operate on nothing but feelings, in tragedies such as this one, they appear to have no feelings at all.

ESPN has announced it will be giving the team its Stuart Scott ENSPIRE award at the network's second annual Sports Humanitarian of the Year awards. In a statement, the network said the award, "celebrates someone that has taken risk and used an innovative approach to helping the disadvantaged through the power of sports." Yes, because when we think of selfless people who risk all to help the disadvantaged, a team of selfish, spoiled, irresponsible brats are what immediately comes to mind. .

Hey, let's create a portmanteau that looks like a misspelling but is actually our own brand of a specific word, then grant it to scholarship athletes that helped drive down school enrollment by 20%. If they cover the award in Cheetoh dust, and refuse to hand it over until after the election, it's 2016 in a nutshell.

Did Ray Rice get the award last year for bringing attention to domestic violence?

Wow, does that "I need some muscle here" prof get an award, too, for driving students and funds away from Mizzou?
IDBillzFan Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Wow, does that "I need some muscle here" prof get an award, too, for driving students and funds away from Mizzou? If they'll give a courage award to a man because he likes to dress like a chick, I suppose anything is possible.
unbillievable Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 What do you do if you don't want to upset your special snowflake? Show them a fake report card! http://www.popsugar.com/moms/School-Offers-Change-Grades-Report-Card-39859714#comments Since our goal is to share accurate information with the parents, and not to discourage or hurt a student, great discretion must be used before allowing your child to view his report card. Azalin Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 RIP Mizzou It's cool - we obviously want a new model with regard to colleges and universities, anyway. Best to let these obsolete indoctrination farms die quietly. The world will ultimately be the better for it.
Joe Miner Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 But didn't Brad Smith go to Mizzou, the Harvard of the Midwest?
IDBillzFan Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 RIP Mizzou I disagree, only because there will always be a paying audience for this kind of rhetoric. He can fill that campus for years to come with all the precious snowflakes being raise in the US right now.
