You know, we were just thinking to ourselves, “What America really needs right now is a lady ‘Terminator’ movie.” So, thanks in advance for this, Hollywood:

Social Justice Warriors Have Finally Come for the Comedy Classic ‘Animal House’

The 1978 classic film ‘Animal House’ turned 40 years old last weekend, if you can believe it. Since its release, it has stood the test of time as the college comedy which defined the genre. Even when it was originally released, it was considered provocative, but back then America had a sense of humor.

In the age of the campus social justice warrior, political correctness rules and you are obligated to be offended by everything. Can you even imagine the reaction if someone tried to hold a screening of ‘Animal House’ at Oberlin or UC Berkeley today? No way. The left has deemed it unacceptable. It was only a matter of time.

Harry Cheadle writes at Vice:

Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of ‘Animal House’ by Tossing It in the Trash

{snip}

Kristi Turnquist writes at Oregon Live:

40 years later, can we still stomach ‘Animal House’?

{snip}

Hannah Yasharoff writes at USA Today:

In the era of #MeToo, is it still OK to laugh at ‘Animal House’?

Billy, big fan, will there be a Mister Saturday Night part 2?

it’s not fun, it’s not funny...

The minute you see Animal House in the douche-du-jour, you're going to see Blazing Saddles. Perhaps THE most damning, because it's the most hilarious, argument against racism is the Camptown Ladies scene in Blazing Saddles, not least because it ends with "Kansas City Faggots".

When do they come for:

1. Caddyshack

2. Ferris Bueller(wait...you have to think a little about this one. Hint: Charlie Sheen's sudden girlfriend...and empowerment. Hell Ferris's girlfriend throughout.)

3. Airplane!

???

They want to destroy the comedy medium. They admit it. Where they WILL fail: the Internet. For decades we have laughed at even the most poorly produced youtubes, because they are funny. The last time I laughed out loud? Right here.

PAULA BOLYARD: #MeToo on Steroids?

“Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation into allegations that he… um… knew or should have known that an assistant coach had been accused (but not convicted) of domestic violence in 2015.”

What a bull **** story.

I think she should light herself on fire. That would be appropriate atonement.
