thebandit27 Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 They've been issuing these for at least a year now. I saw them doing it last August and warned my tailgate crew (I never take a roadie), many of which ignored me...3 of them got tickets. Just finish your beer and head in...or, if you are like my friends and simply must have a roadie, pour it into a Tim Horton's cup or Pepsi can
BarleyNY Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 I was wondering where did you got the ticket? Me too! Those just for the day or can you get a season pass?
CodeMonkey Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Too many drunk !@#$s in the lots, negative publicity from the "drunkest fans in the NFL" thing. Even if it wasn't being enforced before, it was obvious they would now. Not too worry though, once the downtown stadium is ready it won't be a problem anymore.
Not at the table Karlos Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 (edited) So is this going to be new thing at the Ralph,no open containers on sidewalk or road.been going for 15 years and they where handing out 50 dollars fines left and right today,I get it, a law is a law,but why now. they have been doing this for at least 2 years. They get a ton of people at the kk mart walking to the stadium. It was on the news and widely reported. Almost every game I've been to since there has been a few people warning everyone to finish and get rid of your beer before you get close to the intersection. Edited November 10, 2015 by kr632
bigK14094 Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 In Japan, they have such a law also. When translated back to English (Japlish), the signs in Tokyo read "No drinking over walking"
Tenhigh Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 I was wondering where did you got the ticket? You gonna dig a tunnel, Hammer?
DrDawkinstein Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Weird. We walked down Abbott from O'Neills, crossed Abbott to the Stadium, and right up to the gates with drinks. Have never had an issue.
