26CornerBlitz Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 (edited) @Deadspin This is why NFL star Greg Hardy was arrested for assaulting his ex-girlfriend http://deadsp.in/ihOJKwa Edited November 6, 2015 by 26CornerBlitz
YoloinOhio Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 It seems the legal system has somehow failed here...
H2o Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Dude is a real nutcase. You saw it in his first game back on the sidelines. He'll end up in jail at some point or end up dead. Hate to say that, but have seen people like this before suffer the same fate.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 6, 2015 Author Posted November 6, 2015 @stephenasmith Oct 27 I completely support Jerry Jones & the @dallascowboys having Hardy on the team. What side are you on?
aristocrat Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 What they don't tell you is most of the bruises are from when she got thrown out of Bubble that night and the bouncers carried her out. I think a 6 6 275 pound guy would do a lot more damage to a 125 pound girl if he barely even tried.
FireChan Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Is this one of those things where we knew he probably hit her, but now with pictures, we have to double our outrage output for some reason?
GG Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Is this one of those things where we knew he probably hit her, but now with pictures, we have to double our outrage output for some reason? Ray Rice approves of this message.
FireChan Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 (edited) Ray Rice approves of this message. Are you disagreeing with me here? I mean, I knew he hit her. I knew Ray Rice punched his wife. Both of those things are abhorrent, no matter the circumstances short of their life being threatened. But I don't understand the phenomena of the pictures/video changing anything. I realize this sounds bad, and I agree that their should be a moral condemnation of both Rice and Hardy. But I think we should also examine how folks some how care "less" until they see it firsthand. DC Tom Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 From the original outrage, I'd expected her injuries to be much, much worse. I'm actually rather relieved for her.

A picture is worth a thousand words.
YoloinOhio Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 A picture is worth a thousand words. i think it's called "evidence" but I'm no lawyer.
DC Tom Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 A picture is worth a thousand words. If the pictures make a difference, you weren't outraged enough to begin with.
FireChan Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 A picture is worth a thousand words. I suppose. Sorta sad how photographic evidence is required to elicit a moral response. i think it's called "evidence" but I'm no lawyer. I believe we had police reports describing her injuries and the event since it happened. I think that may constitute as evidence. http://www.wsoctv.com/news/news/local/panthers-hardy-trial-start-tuesday/ngfk8/
YoloinOhio Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 If the pictures make a difference, you weren't outraged enough to begin with. i didn't follow the story very closely but I thought I read that she reportedly only had a hangnail or something... That she didn't have injuries. Could be wrong.
johnwalter Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 This is terrifying. It seemed like NFL teams were taking a stand, turning down his immense talent -- until the cowboys stepped in. Very disappointing, Jerry Jones needs to be better.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 6, 2015 Author Posted November 6, 2015 Jerrah says.....Shhhhhh @DavidMooreDMN Cowboys officials are aware of photos that have surfaced of Greg Hardy and Nicole Holder and have no comment.
Formerly Allan in MD Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Undoubtedly it was self defense. Poor baby Greg had to defend himself.
