drinkTHEkoolaid Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Yes we can! Hope and change! We are the 99%. Let's go **** on cop cars. And ummm yea everyone needs to pay their fair share, and ummm mitt Romney had a horse. It's someone else's fault!
Trump_is_Mentally_fit Posted November 5, 2015 Author Posted November 5, 2015 So, what's wrong with keeping things the way they are? Because we can do better
3rdnlng Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Because we can do better What would you do with that additional tax revenue?
Deranged Rhino Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 What would you do with that additional tax revenue? Duh, spend more.
3rdnlng Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Duh, spend more. Have you ever played Texas Holdem? There is a tactic called "slow play". Let it play out.
B-Large Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 at some point both tax and cutting spending will come to pass.... but it will be fun to debate it and do nothing until we have 30T in debt.
Trump_is_Mentally_fit Posted November 5, 2015 Author Posted November 5, 2015 at some point both tax and cutting spending will come to pass.... but it will be fun to debate it and do nothing until we have 30T in debt. It will? How many jobs will be cut by governments when this happens? What would you do with that additional tax revenue? This is Texas hold em? Lol, I'd spend more on infrastructure
Deranged Rhino Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Have you ever played Texas Holdem? There is a tactic called "slow play". Let it play out. My bad.
B-Large Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 It will? How many jobs will be cut by governments when this happens? probably a lot. however, we cannot continue down the path we have been on for the last 30 years. Government will have to shrink, and taxes will have to raised to begin covering debt/ paying off debt. This is Texas hold em? Lol, I'd spend more on infrastructure
Chef Jim Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Raising taxes would raise revenue. Nice thread title. I guess you smacked your head a few weeks ago and that's why you've been AWOL. I think you need some more time off to heal.
3rdnlng Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 It will? How many jobs will be cut by governments when this happens? This is Texas hold em? Lol, I'd spend more on infrastructure You wouldn't put that increased revenue towards the deficit? BTW, what kind of infrastructure?
keepthefaith Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 It will? How many jobs will be cut by governments when this happens? This is Texas hold em? Lol, I'd spend more on infrastructure Seriously, run for office for the donkey party. You've got the proven tax and spend approach down pat. Don't be intimidated by the fact that Republican Governors outnumber dems 2 to 1 or that the house and senate are in enemy hands. You can't lose on a platform of more taxes and more spending.
Chef Jim Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 You wouldn't put that increased revenue towards the deficit? BTW, what kind of infrastructure? I had a whole list of infrastructure questions for him but I figured he'd just call me a jackass or a do-do head for asking so many questions.

Try: I am more in favor of greater investments as opposed to draconian cuts. Edited November 6, 2015 by keepthefaith
