MDH Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 That is an uninspiring choice, despite the fact he was a fine punter.
sodbuster Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 (edited) Alright, guess I know which jersey I'm wearing to the game this week. Edited November 4, 2015 by sodbuster
vincec Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Awesome. If that doesn't show how sad this franchise has been over the last 15 years then nothing does.
Gray Beard Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 When the Bills humiliate and dominate the Dolphins everybody will say that Moorman should lead the charge every week. Â My son and I still laugh when we talk about Moorman running the obstacle course at the Pro Bowl many years ago. Rather than move the sled, he went around it and took a time penalty. He was so fast that he almost won the competition. They used to have several different skill contests leading up to the Pro Bowl, and they were much more fun to watch than the game.
SF Bills Fan Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Moorman was our most valuable player for a stretch. A very dismal dark stretch of time.
CardinalScotts Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 13 seasons as a Buffalo Bill....great punter.......great community guy...loves Buffalo the city......why not
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Moorman was our most valuable player for a stretch. A very dismal dark stretch of time. Sad but true. Ol' number 8 was popular
3rdand12 Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 (edited) Awesome. If that doesn't show how sad this franchise has been over the last 15 years then nothing does. Not true The dude was a stud regardless. Awesome he is leading the Charge. Brian hwas great Bill and Buffalonian for multiple reasons Go Bills! respect the player. respect the Man Edited November 5, 2015 by 3rdand12
Rico Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Moorman may only have been a punter, but he was a great punter, congrats.
3rdand12 Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Moorman was our most valuable player for a stretch. A very dismal dark stretch of time. But he was a beacon! Moorman may only have been a punter, but he was a great punter, congrats. yes indeed. if only Ralph could have found a way to win by punting... Â
K D Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 He was a good punter because he got a lot of practice. Some of those teams were hard to watch. It got to the point with Edwards that he couldn't even get a first down. Moorman kept us in a lot of those games by flipping the field position. Schmidt is helping by doing that now
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Not true The dude was a stud regardless. Awesome he is leading the Charge. Brian hwas great Bill and Buffalonian for multiple reasons Go Bills! respect the player. respect the Man Agreed. Great player for us.
3rdand12 Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Agreed. Great player for us. yep.   Those that never suffered with us all those years may not recall how we wished we had a team to surround him with  /s
dayman Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 We know him as a great punter in his day. Â Â The world knows him as the kicker Sean Taylor destroyed during the probowl.
stevewin Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 (edited) Wow - nothing epitomizes the state of the Bills the last 15 years than this. Â A number of years ago at a Fantasy Draft, a (very vocal) Pats** fan in my league was having a great time making fun of me after he went to the Bills-Pats** game in Buffalo and said by far the most jerseys he saw fans wearing was the punter - the punter! QB Bills Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 He was at one point the fastest guy on the team apparently. Might have been a punter, but that doesn't mean he wasn't a great athlete in his own right. They should have ran more fake punts with him.
EmotionallyUnstable Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 That is an uninspiring choice, despite the fact he was a fine punter. Has there every been an inspiring choice? I don't think the players could care less about who waves a flag.
machine gun kelly Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 I can't even remember the game, but when he did that fake punt, and rand for a 1st when it was 4th down was awesome. He was fast.
Buffalo Beeeews Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 He was the cover boy one year for season ticket sales. Yes, this actually happened...
