Jerry Jabber Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Mularkey and Marrone, aren't they the same guy?
BADOLBILZ Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 An undisciplined and unwatchable mess you say? Sounds familiar... The similarity has certainly crossed my mind. For all the playmakers on this team they have played A LOT of unwatchable football this year and just as Mularkey refused to change so has Rex.
Nick the Greek Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 I wish somebody could remind me why we are supposed to hate Mularkey. Maybe I don't remember correctly, but he was told he could keep his job if he fired his assistants. He said I could not respect myself if I did that to save my skin, so I will fire myself instead. Why is that something that we are supposed to hate? I must have it all wrong. I bet the same thing happened with Marrone. He was told to fire Hackett. He wouldn't do it, and he quit. Now we got REXY!!
Coach Tuesday Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 The similarity has certainly crossed my mind. For all the playmakers on this team they have played A LOT of unwatchable football this year and just as Mularkey refused to change so has Rex. And actually there are parallels between this team and the 2003 Bills under Gregg-o. That team had some talent but had stubborn and overrated coaches who refused to adapt their schemes to fit the personnel (and account for Injuries), and lost the lockerroom as a result. That team was also an undisciplined and unwatchable mess, like its head coach. Gawd we've suffered.
Saxum Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Looks like it was a wise hire for Titans. No sacks allowed for the first time this season after giving up at least six in three different games under Whisenhunt. I do not expect them to challenge Carolina next week but perhaps Mariota will not be ruined in his first year as starter,
