BADOLBILZ Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Mularkey just chosen to replace Whisenhut as HC of the Titans. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2585347-ken-whisenhunt-fired-by-titans-latest-details-comments-and-reaction?utm_source=cnn.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=editorial We all remember Mularkey as the original quitter. This is as good a shot as Meathead could ever ask for. Young team in a soft division with decent talent and a really nice QB prospect. Ultra-low expectations replacing a coach with a terrible record.
hondo in seattle Posted November 3, 2015 Author Posted November 3, 2015 Whisenhut went 3-20 in his tenure with the Titans. For Mularkey, there's no place to go but up.
Gray Beard Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 I wish somebody could remind me why we are supposed to hate Mularkey. Maybe I don't remember correctly, but he was told he could keep his job if he fired his assistants. He said I could not respect myself if I did that to save my skin, so I will fire myself instead. Why is that something that we are supposed to hate? I must have it all wrong.
It's in My Blood Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Well, you know what the Titans are eating sometime this week. 🍔
Rico Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Congrats Meathead! Maybe third time's the charm.

When Dick Jauron is a breath of fresh air you might not be doing your job well.

I always wished him well but never, never wanted to see him coach in Buffalo again.
Gray Beard Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 His second season was absolutely brutal to watch. When Dick Jauron is a breath of fresh air you might not be doing your job well. I remember that the Bills were pretty bad when he was the coach, but I am always surprised by the venom people spew at him. He seems to always get another high paying job, so somebody must think he has something to offer. Of course, it always seems to be on bad teams. He probably will work for a lot less than other coaches with experience.
BringBackFergy Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Miami appoints TE coach as Interim HC. Titans appoint TE coach as Interim HC. Who is our TE coach?
YoloinOhio Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Miami appoints TE coach as Interim HC. Titans appoint TE coach as Interim HC. Who is our TE coach?i think it is Bobby April III

He's had moments as an OC.......but he is basically a poor man's Sam Wyche and when things go bad he makes them worse.
3rdand12 Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 i think it is Bobby April III so there is hope for our special teams yet? what was Whisenhunt doing wrong? I dont follow other teams at all. that is one horrid record.

CardinalScotts Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 16-32 should be able to balance that out by the end of next season
Fadingpain Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 It's amazing the trash the NFL is willing to recycle over and over again.
