Jim Kelly was a drinker and partier. A HoF'er you would have given up on

was Kelly an alcoholic and had to go to extended rehab, then fall off the wagon and lie about it to the team? Is Manziel as good of an NFL QB as Kelly? If not, no need to compare the two players.

Kelly was a huge partier, and not only booze. I know that for a fact. I doubt Johnny Fieldgoal partied any more than Kelly. I would bet it was less and maybe way less. He's not smart about it, that's for sure.

kelly, LT, Bruce smith.. The list goes on and on. None are similar to what Manziel is going through. He's not being punished just for partying. He's being benched for repeated poor decision making and lying to the organization about it. Unlike those other players, he's not good enough to put up with that kind of behavior. Somehow other young NFL players manage to avoid drunken videos. He's fully aware the camera is there.

Blame the front office for the #Browns’ woes, not Johnny Football: http://ow.ly/VacX0

Justin Gilbert has been a much bigger problem for the Browns than Johnny Manziel http://www.clevescene.com/scene-and-heard/archives/2015/11/30/disastrous-cleveland-browns-season-was-set-up-to-fail-from-the-start

Johnny lives in a world of social media, Kelly and the Bills of old did not (thank goodness, the stories would have been endless :D)

One more shot with the #Browns RT @MaryKayCabot: breaking: Terrelle Pryor is signing with #Browns today

League source told http://cleveland.com

that Pryor was getting set to meet with #Bears today but is signing with #Browns instead

Jim Kelly and Johnny Manziel comparisons make no sense. Kelly was a partier, and did live before social media. However, Kelly had the physical attributes and ability to be an NFL QB. Manziel simply doesn't. I've said it before and I'll say it again. The Browns and even the media would treat this completely different if Manziel looked good on the field. Trust me, that's what this league is really all about. It becomes a story with him because it's the only story. We certainly can't talk about the amazing things he's done when he has gotten the chance to play.

Austin Davis, baby! Chalk up an easy win for KC coming up soon and they can even rest their starters! :death:

Hmmm? How long before Pryor gets a shot behind Center?
