YoloinOhio Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 (edited) I will never understand how all pro players can be traded for meaningless late round picks. 6th round picks rarely ever amount to anything.that was his value... Better than SF getting nothing when he leaves in FA ...and they shed salary. Where they are going this year, they don't need him. I think he was part of the divided locker room too over Kap. Augie Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 What kind of contract came with him? That often explains trade compensation.
Maury Ballstein Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Peyton manning playoff game fail coming. Mark your calendars.
YoloinOhio Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 What kind of contract came with him? That often explains trade compensation.slightly under 2.5 mill per spotrac
atlbillsfan1975 Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Going all in on what could be Peyton's last year. I like the move too. VD will look like VD from 4 years ago with Peyton throwing the ball. Too bad Peyton cant look like Peyton from 4 years ago.
Wazzu Bill Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 I will never understand how all pro players can be traded for meaningless late round picks. 6th round picks rarely ever amount to anything. I think if a team can gather a good handful of late round picks, one prospect is likely to turn out well. For an aging TE who hasn't been able to build a connection with your hopeful franchise QB, I think this trade makes decent sense for SF.
Augie Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 (edited) slightly under 2.5 mill per spotrac Well, I doubt THAT was it. I guess he's just not the same guy any more? Hope he can help Denver though. Edited November 3, 2015 by Augie
fansince88 Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 I will never understand how all pro players can be traded for meaningless late round picks. 6th round picks rarely ever amount to anything. Dumping money and getting more drafts is more the name of the game than not
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Well, it turns out VD is catching again. We should be on the lookout for a breakout performance.
stinky finger Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 If the Bills can't win it all, I'm rooting for the Broncos. At this point, it's ABNE* or ABGB** for me. *Anybody But New England*** **Anybody But Green Bay I certainly understand NE. Why not GB? just curious. What about NE vs GB?
Rubes Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 (edited) I certainly understand NE. Why not GB? just curious. What about NE vs GB? There is a collection of (fair-weather) GB fans at my workplace. I'm so sick of hearing them. When the Bills beat them last year, it was pure glory for me. I told them it was my Super Bowl. If it wasn't for that, I'd totally root for GB. But I just can't take all of their gloating. Edited November 3, 2015 by Rubes
billsfan714 Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Dumping money and getting more drafts is more the name of the game than not Yeah look at the good stuff we got for Marshawn.

Rubes Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Why greenbay It's right there, three posts above yours.
MDH Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Too bad Peyton cant look like Peyton from 4 years ago. He looks better than he did 4 years ago. Four years ago he missed the season with his neck injury and the Colts were busy tanking the season for Luck.
Nanker Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Not sure how much gazz he has left in the tank. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/D/DaviVe00.htm Working with a real QB, albeit one doing his swan song, should energize him to a point. El Way is going all in this year... rolling the dice.
ricojes Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 It begins.....Vernon Davis to Broncos And it ends the same...
BringBackFergy Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Whew!!!! After a flurry of trade activity, I'm ready for a beer.
