Billsmovinup Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 We all know that Sammy's production suffers because of constant double teams. What I'm wondering is why nobody ever doubles Odell Beckham. Take today for example. Odell scored three td's. Clearly there is no way he was doubled because anybody who gets doubled on a consistent basis like Sammy would be lucky to get three td's in a season let alone a single game. If someone could explain why Beckham never gets double coverage I would really appreciate it.

One major difference between ODB Eli Manning is a lot better than KO or EJM or TT

peterpan Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 I always chuckle when people use that excuse for Sammy. Its basically admitting he isn't good enough or something. "He is good enough to draw doubles but not good enough to beat them"
Beerball Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 So, is this a Sammy thread? Or, is this a Tyrod thread? Or, is the a Manuel thread?
Deranged Rhino Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 So, is this a Sammy thread? Or, is this a Tyrod thread? Or, is the a Manuel thread? I'll take, It's a silly thread for 2000, Alex.
B-Man Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Beckham gets plenty of double coverage. One major difference between ODB Eli Manning is a lot better than KO or EJM or TT I disagree. Not from the Saints he didn't, there was plenty of 1 on 1 coverage. .
peterpan Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Sammy struggles b.c of QB... Not double teams. I'll add attitude to that list too. Last year he gave up on a lot of balls, didnt give 100% effort. This year he is whining. He has a piss poor attitude

Haven't seen enough Giants games to know. I did see one of his TDs was a designed pick for him. I don't recall seeing a play like that for Watkins. If was a nice piece of design. OBJ continues to get a lot of targets, the Bills should do this with Watkins if he hopefully can get healthy.

Sometimes on TV it can be hard to pick up, especially if the safety is deeper trying to take away the TD. That's a credit to the guys YAC they have to give him that much respect Edited November 1, 2015 by JTSP
GunnerBill Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Listen ODJ is very good but I coulda scored TDs in that game today. I watched it and thought defense had been banned.
