Augie Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 So now both Jets QBs hurt Fitz had to go out there with a broken thumb And completed a pass! Maybe we should break..... never mind.
Boatdrinks Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Lewis really hadn't done anything to that point. He sat on his couch for a year and 32 teams passed on signing him in 2014. If we were playing him now, seeing as he is thriving in Brady offense, Rex wouldn't say that. Probably shouldn't have said it back then either, but hasn't said anything since that wasn't glowing about any opponent. True. And again , it was no big deal. Just a lighthearted way of saying " they've got Brady and Gronkowski, and that Edelman catches a ton of balls and you think I'm worrying about some unknown RB? Affected the game absolutely zilch. You sure about that? I haven't seen any great coaches not get animated. It was a joke . Some guys around here think you have to be a personality free mannequin a la Jauron to be a good coach for some reason.
Boatdrinks Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 So, does Cassel have a 1:00 FG drive in him?
Beerball Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 The team makes themselves look like a bunch of asses when they can't execute. That too is true. So was the post you quoted.

DC Tom Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Wow. The officials in the Seattle-Dallas game just made one of the dumbest calls I've ever seen, calling an obvious forward pass a fumble. It's like some sort of bizarre "inverse tuck rule" !@#$-up or something.
r00tabaga Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Good call...not sure what you didn't like, they got it right
Fixxxer Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I don't have the energy to laugh at Cassel.....
Boatdrinks Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 That too is true. So was the post you quoted. So you think that he sent the o-line out as captains without any pretense? Maybe he wanted to empower the O line because they needed to run the ball seeing EJ was starting. Who knows. I know I didn't care. If it was a jab at Marrone then I think it's humorous. Marrone was a jagoff . I don't think it had any bearing on the game , though. Not enough to care about it . Good call...not sure what you didn't like, they got it right There was no way that wasn't a forward pass. Refs are a joke.

It has bearing when you lose unless you're ok with ridicule.
MattM Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Matt Cassel blows--the folks upset about our trading him really need to watch this tape. He makes EJ look like a HOFer....
KD in CA Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 So, does Cassel have a 1:00 FG drive in him? Ummm......nope.
YoloinOhio Posted November 2, 2015 Author Posted November 2, 2015 Matt Cassel blows--the folks upset about our trading him really need to watch this tape. He makes EJ look like a HOFer....i kept thinking there's no way he's worse than EJ but then I watched this game.
BuffaninATL Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I'd like to see Sully & Bucky try to attack Whaley again for trading Cassel to Dallas. 13/25, 97 yard performance, utterly statuesque on the last possession ....yep, that's who we wanted as our #2
YoloinOhio Posted November 2, 2015 Author Posted November 2, 2015 Cassel is god awful. Even after giving the game to the Jaguars last week I'd still take EJ over Cassel any day. its like having to choose between candy corn and lifesavers on Halloween and no one giving out Reese's cups.
YoloinOhio Posted November 2, 2015 Author Posted November 2, 2015 (edited) Its like having a choice between a 200 lb woman or 190 lb woman. EJ obviously being the 190 lb woman. The struggle is real Edited November 2, 2015 by YoloinOhio

Boatdrinks Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 It has bearing when you lose unless you're ok with ridicule. I didn't hear that get ridiculed. The performance of the QB was probably ridiculed after that disaster, but I heard nothing about the captains. Obviously Rdx doesn't expect to lose, which is good. But I don't feel ridicule if my team loses. I just hope they bounce back and win the next game.
