Marv's Neighbor Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Having lived in Cha-ching County (King County WA.) for 25 years, other people's money means nothing to them!
KD in CA Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Nothing more useless on this planet than marketing people with a government budget and nothing productive to do. Meanwhile, Seattle PL won't spend more than about $75K on a program to gave kids direct access to an on-demand, online tutoring program. 'Rebranding' a library. Good-!@#$ing-grief.
\GoBillsInDallas/ Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 "He thought using the term "rebranding" would be too unclear for the public..." So basically, we the public are "unintelligent" and need to be "educated" on why spending taxpayers money is a "good idea".
Chef Jim Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Our company went through a complete rebranding the beginning of this year. Best thing this company has done in the 15 years I've been here so rebranding is huge. Huge for companies trying to do a better job of getting their message out and differentiating them from the competition. But a library?? Are you kidding me? The only rebranding a library needs is a new logo and they probably could have had a contest with grade school kids for free and the kids would likely have come up with something very cool.

/dev/null Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 How do you "rebrand" a library? It's a place full of books, newspapers, and magazines. Oooh ooh I know. Let the world know they have microfilm
