HamSandwhich Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 He just needs to stop talking until his play can keep up with his mouth So far he has been a bust compared to his wr piers drafted that same year and seems to always be fighting through some sort of injury This
LB3 Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 isn't that about 90% of the "fans" here? If the shoe fits them.
stony Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 OMG. You guys are defending this dope. I could tolerate the "Gimme my 10 targets" and "I could have Julio Jones stats if I had 20 targets" bull ****....but this dolt is bordering on TO material. Never, never, never call out your fans!! That's the sign of immaturity and a lack of professionalism. You can go ahead and defend him all you want but I've made up my mind on this kid. I'm missing the TO and Sammy comparison here. Bit of a stretch, no?
LB3 Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Dude has a point... I'm a loser with a low paying job. Apparently he has no faith that I'll turn **** around though... Lol
stony Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Wow is all I can say!!! He totally changed the way I'll look at him, that pisses me off to now end! Go F yourself Sammy all we want is you on the field Yeah? You hate him now because he told a few knuckleheads to get a life?
TheFunPolice Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 I accidentally deleted my post... Every time I mess something up I'm just going to say "Sammy was right" Lol Way to insult fans for their pitiful little lives though The guy straight up gets it!
BillsFan130 Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Sometimes it's not the best idea to respond, but its gotta be tough to have a bunch of twitter tough guys calling you out. I mean, he's got a point. true, but this is always why I say it's not a good idea for professional athletes to have twitter. More bad comes than good
LB3 Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 true, but this is always why I say it's not a good idea for professional athletes to have twitter. More bad comes than good This I can totally agree with.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Nope. He's not talking to me. He's only saying that to dbags. I'm ok with him saying it. Me too.
BringBackFergy Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 (edited) I'm missing the TO and Sammy comparison here. Bit of a stretch, no?Not so much when TO was with the Bills, but elsewhere TO played the victim card. Sammy is taking on a victim persona that is illogical (considering he is a millionaire with mediocre stats). It just doesn't sit well with me (or most other fans I imagine). And the defense that he is directing this at douche bags who say he is a wimp (not "real" fans like you and me) is misguided because fans say all kinds of things...and !@#$ fans buy jerseys, and tickets, and ball caps, and concessions.....there's no deciphering asshat fans from good fans on gameday. Jason Whitten has two sprained ankles and a knee injury and is still playing on Sundays. I can see how some interpret Sammy as soft. Edited October 28, 2015 by BringBackFergy
TheFunPolice Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Us little people who buy tickets and jerseys and $15 beers are the reason his talents have economic value.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Us little people who buy tickets and jerseys and $15 beers are the reason his talents have economic value. The TV networks are why his talents have economic value.
Boatdrinks Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 He's not calling out fans. He's calling out dbag losers who keep calling him soft while housing pizza and beer by the troughful. This is correct, which explains why some on this board are bothered by it, while some of us couldn't care less.
LB3 Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 This is correct, which explains why some on this board are bothered by it, while some of us couldn't care less. Precisely.
Boatdrinks Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 The TV networks are why his talents have economic value. Exactly, which is directly connected to the value of trucks, cell phones, insurance, and beer. It has little to do with jerseys, tickets, or even stadium beers. They could play in empty stadiums and the league would make money.
BringBackFergy Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 EJ must have hacked Sammy's Instagram account. #EJwentRogue
HamSandwhich Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 The TV networks are why his talents have economic value. C'mon man, you know why he TV networks are valuable. Say it with me...THE FANS....

LB3 Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 C'mon man, you know why he TV networks are valuable. Say it with me...THE FANS.... And they will continue to tune in, even if they hate Sammy Watkins. Ask Howard Stern how much people hating him has ruined his career.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Just stay off Twitter Sammy......there is no winning with the idiots This- social media isn't going to be endearing to a dude drafted with a Kings randsom to a franchise with a fan base desperate to stop sucking after 15 years of futility. The first little speed bump will bring rage
