Updating ongoing reports, Jay Glazer reports on FOXSports.com that the Buffalo Bills have indeed decided to release QB Drew Bledsoe. They are expected to announce the decision, possibly through a press conference, Wednesday, Feb. 16. Due to league rules, the Bills cannot officially release Bledsoe until Feb. 22, but he has already been informed of the decision.

before yougo name calling, I admit that I was wrong because I just posted that i didnt think we would go that route.

But, no WGR doesnt hold an ounce of credibility to KFFL or Jay Glazer at FoxSports.

Good. I hope they're right. No sense letting this percolate for another week. Too bad DB's self-evaluation is so flawed, apparently.

I love Jim Kelly, but 2 years out of the league he claims he is still better than 80% of the QB's on Sportsline with McG.

Where do these guys get this stuff? They seriously arent the best evaluators of what they are and are not and can and cannot do.

Dont blame me, I swear these clown journalists call each other on the phone and co-releas half factual breaking news or simply copy other peoples stories.

It would have been good if Drew stayed on as the backup. He would be excellent in the role at this point. Sometimes a guy just has to understand his shortcomings and deal with it.

I would think TD gave him the option to stay on as a highly paid backup or be waived. Sounds like DB made his choice.

absolutely, he could have been a real calming force to what looks to be a roller coaster ride of a season next year with a young QB full of piss and vinegar.

He could have rode off into the sunset as a very well respected QB who road the bench but helped lead, call plays, and coached.

Instead he chose to overrate his talent, make stupid comments about having a choke hold on his job, and fall out of favor.
