I listen to R&B but mostly the older stuff and never heard of her. Pop? I listen to what local radio station plays which is a mixture of 80, 90's and 21st century and can not determine exactly what is pop. Some songs I turn down and some I turn up. Well the title of the thread seems to imply that we should all know her. Anyway have you ever heard of a stage name? "Ciara" seems to be one as it is unlikely to be a given name, especially sine it is not Ciara Jones, or Ciara Smith for example. A stage name could have been taken after the ED medicine Ciara was already on the market. Maybe she was meaning to imply that she herself is an ED medicine.
