DC Tom Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 http://uk.biz.yahoo.com/050215/323/fcing.html 240446 Legitimately, the case should be thrown right out of court on the long-standing principle that laibility does not attach to "Acts of God"...long standing in that meteorologists can not be sued for the weather. Conversely, if the case goes through, it won't be long before we see people in FL filing suit against the NOAA, NHC, and NSSL for hurricanes. And that, of course, is beside the fact that they're suing the Pacific tsunami warning center for not being in the Indian Ocean...
/dev/null Posted February 22, 2005 Author Posted February 22, 2005 Personally, Im surprised someone hasnt blamed BUSH for this246400 there has been an occasional nutjob with a story. funniest i read was that the earthquake was triggered by the cia to cause a tsunami and kill muslims in indonesia but the democrats know better than to try and pin it on bush. given their newfound piety (discovered after the 2004 election), they'd be hard pressed to find a way to pin an act of god on bush
nobody Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 they'd be hard pressed to find a way to pin an act of god on bush Especially with bush being chosen as world leader by the devine creator.
